Upon arrival, take a Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) ride to Hsinchu - popularly known as “the windy city” from its windy climate. Then, visit Hsinchu City Gods (Cheng Huang) Temple, a Taoist temple with a distinctive arched entrance structure where hundreds of colourful wall-paintings can also be seen. Many stalls offering various local delights such as rice vermicelli, Taiwanese spring rolls and meatball soup can be found at the market in front of the temple. You can indulge in Hsinchu’s famous local snacks at your own expense. Enjoy General Chang’s Specialty Dinner and taste General Chang’s favourite dish: Pickled cabbage hot pot with meat. HSINCHU - NANTOU

This morning, proceed to Nantou Sky Bridge. Nantou Sky Bridge is a ladder-style suspension bridge that measures 204 meters long with a total of 262 stairs and a level drop of 5.65 meters between the two ends. As it is located in the Houtanjing Recreation Area in the Baguashan mountainous area on the city's border with Changhua County, it gives visitors a clear and relaxing view of the Changhua plain. Continue to Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area, where we will enjoy a leisurely lunch at Fleur De Chine Hotel Restaurant with the gorgeous view of Sun Moon Lake right beside you. Next, visit the famous Wenwu Temple that was built to commemorate “Confucius” and “Kuan Gong”. Embark on a cruise at ShuiShe Wharf and be captivated by Sun Moon Lake’s beautiful scenery. This morning, visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery and its newly built Buddha Memorial Centre. Situated behind the main temple is its majestic Buddha statue which is one of the world’s tallest bronze seated Buddha statues. We will have a Steamboat Buffet Lunch in Kaohsiung. Continue to Chipen, Taitung on a leisurely drive. Tonight, you can enjoy the facilities in the hotel or in-room hot spring facilities. (Please bring along your swimwear and cap.) TAITUNG - HUALIEN

Continue on to a leisurely drive to Hualien and be awed by the stunning scene of East Rift Valley along the way. Next, visit Qixin Tan Scenic Area, an old fishing village with clear turquoise sea water lapping at the crescent-shaped shore. With its relaxing scenery, Qixin Tan is well-known as Taiwan’s most beautiful shore covered by pebbles. Next, visit the Marble Factory, where you will have a chance to view unique marble sculptures.
