SINGAPORE - CHANGSHA

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for our flight to Hunan Province’s capital – Changsha. Upon arrival, we will proceed to hotel after dinner.

CHANGSHA - FENGHUANG ANCIENT TOWN

After breakfast, we will drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town. On our way, we can enjoy the breathtaking view of Dongting Lake from afar. We will then proceed to Ancient Town of Fenghuang. It is claimed by some people to be the most beautiful ancient city in China. Located by Tuojiang River, Fenghuang is the perfect foil to the bustle of city life. It is surrounded by mountain ranges and is often shrouded in cloud and mist. The river meanders through the town, reflecting the green Mt. Nanhuashan. The fishing boats dot in the river, bridges over the water and houses built on stilts exhibit the harmony that is often portrayed in traditional Chinese paintings.

FENGHUANG - ZHANGJIAJIE / MT TIANZI / YUANJIAJIE (CABLE CAR AND BAILONG LIFT INCLUDED)

Following breakfast, we will proceed to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, we will ascend by Cable Car up to the 140,000-mu Mt Tianzi Scenic Area for spectacular views. This scenic area of Wulingyuan has a captivating landscape of undulating mountain ranges, bizarre rock formations and lush green forests. Mt Tianzi has the highest peak in Zhangjiajie, its apex at 1,626ft. From the summit, we can enjoy a majestic view of thousands of peaks spread out underneath. Mt Tianzi is known for four sceneries: moonlit nights, cloud seas, twilight and winter snow.The local Tujia ethnic group has a saying about Mt Tianzi: 'Those who have seen and returned from Mt Tianzi will not want to view other mountains. Indeed, Mt Tianzi is said to have Mt Taishan's majesty, Mt Huashan's precipitousness, Guilin's scenic beauty and Mt Huangshan's mystery. On a visit here, one can experience all the highlights of China's most famous mountains. After our visit at Yuanjiajie, we will take Bailong Lift down the mountain.

ZHANGJIAJIE / JINBIAN BROOK / TEN-MILE GALLERY/ CRUISE RIDE BAOFENG LAKE

After breakfast, we will drive to Jinbian Brook and Ten-Mile Gallery which is within the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Jinbian Brook is the symbol of the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area. Its natural sights are rarely found in other areas. This 5-km long and narrow brook is said to have the most beautiful gorge in the world. Shaded by thick forests, it does not see daylight in the afternoon and is well known for its tranquility. At the end of Jinbian Brook is Shuiraosimen Village, its name is translated as the 'village surrounded on four sides by water. The Ten-Mile Art Gallery is an unmissable sight. It is said that one hasn't been to Zhangjiajie if he hasn't visited the Ten- Mile Art Gallery. Located at the foot of Mt.Tianzishan, the Ten- Mile Art Gallery has karst formations of different shapes and sizes, stretching over some 10 miles and forming a natural art corridor. These formations seem to shift shapes as one moves; our perception of them is only limited by our imagination. Next, the tour proceeds to Baofeng Lake where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery by cruise.

ZHANGJIAJIE YICHANG / YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE

This morning, we will depart for Yichang. We will visit Junsheng Art Gallery along the way. Upon arrival, we will proceed to the harbour and board our Yangtze River Cruise.

THREE GORGES SCENIC AREA

After breakfast, visit the world's largest dam, the Three Gorges Dam. Thereafter, you will explore and learn how the cruise passes the five-step floodgate. Continue your cruise journey to Xiling Gorge and enjoy the landscape. In the evening, you will get to enjoy the Captain's Welcome Party. (In the event of Three Gorges Dam being under maintenance, the Cruise will not pass through the five-step floodgate.)

THREE GORGES SCENIC AREA

This morning, your cruise will slowly pass through Wu Gorge. You can view the mysterious Goddess Peak. In Mt. Wu, you will transfer to a small boat and explore the beautiful Goddess Stream. The 15km long meandering stream is tranquil and surrounded by verdant peaks. Next, you will return to the cruise to visit Qutang Gorge. You will see the magnificent Kuimen or you can choose to visit Baidicheng at your own expense. (Due to Yangtze Cruise arrangement, Goddess Stream may be changed to Shennong Stream or Small Three Gorge.)

THREE GORGES SCENIC AREA

Today, the cruise arrives at Zhongxian for your excursion to Shibaozhai. It is on the north shore of the Yangtze River, situated on a cliff of Mt. Yuyin. Shibaozhai, which literally means "Precious Stone Fortress", was built in Ming Dynasty and consists of a gate, a pavilion and a temple. The wooden temple stands 56 meters high with 12 storeys. The extraordinary design is reputed as one of the eight architectural wonders in the world. Thereafter, return to cruise. A Farewell Dinner will be served on board. (Due to Yangtze Cruise arrangement, Shibaozhai may be changed to Fengdu Ghost Town or Wulong.)

CHONGQING - SINGAPORE

After breakfast, we will arrive in Chongqing and disembark from the cruise. Proceed to visit Hongyadong Folklore Area. After visiting Bashu Arts Centre, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
