FUKUOKA - NAGASAKI

Upon arrival, you will be met by our friendly local guide before proceeding to Nagasaki. We will first visit Huis Ten Bosch, a theme park which recreates the appearance of a 17th century Dutch town, complete with bicycles, cheese, windmills and canals. Armed with your entrance passport, you will have access to various rides, museums and shows. Do not miss the Nijenrode Castle and thrilling Horizon Adventure. After a fun-filled day, we will proceed to Nagasaki Chinatown.

NAGASAKI–KUMAMOTO

After breakfast, we will proceed to Nagasaki Peace Park commemorating the atomic bombing of the city on 9th August 1945 during World War II. Stop by the Atomic Bomb Museum which serves as a silent reminder of the fateful day. Next, visit Glover Mansion, scene of Puccini’s opera “Madame Butterfly”, one of the landmarks of Nagasaki. Thereafter, we will visit Oura Cathedral which is considered the oldest standing Christian church in Japan and the only western building to be designated as a national treasure.

KUMAMOTO –-IBUSUKI

After breakfast, we will head south to visit the majestic Kumamoto Castle which is considered as one of the three premier castles in Japan. Next, we will visit Suizenji- Koen Garden, which took 80 years to complete construction. The fresh springs in the garden release clean, cold water which flows from Mt Aso via underground currents. Then, we will proceed to Ibusuki which is famous for it’s black-sand spas known as ‘Sunamushi Onsen’ You will have the chance to have yourself buried up to your neck in black sand at Yunohama Beach, heated naturally by hot springs that rise close to ground surface level before running to the sea.

IBUSUKI – KAGOSHIMA - ASO

After breakfast, we will head towards Kagoshima’s Sakura-jima Island, an active composite volcano and a former island as it is now connected to the mainland when lava flows of its 1914 eruption caused it to merge with Osumi Peninsula. You will have a chance to visit the Lava Road where you can have a nice experience of the history and ‘feel’ of the island with a stroll along the lava plains of Sakura-jima. There are also small shrines and several lava formations to explore. Thereafter, we will head towards Mt Aso and ascend Mt Aso via a cable car (Subject to weather conditions) to witness it’s distinctive huge crater basin.

ASO - BEPPU – FUKUOKA

After breakfast, we will visit Beppu. The sightseeing will lead us to a hot spring region with its boiling Blood Pool, ejecting mud into the air and the Dragon Whirlpool. Thereafter, we will proceed to Fukuoka shopping district which includes Tenjin Underground shopping and Canal City Hakata, which is a large shopping and entertainment complex which boasts numerous attractions including restaurants, a game centre, cinemas, two hotels, a canal which runs through the complex and over 250 stores offering a variety of goods ranging from trendy fashion clothing, cosmetics, and character goods including; Pokemon Center, Sanrio and Disney Store!

FUKUOKA - SINGAPORE
