Start the day by visiting Tiananmen Square. The Tiananmen Tower, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall for the People and Mao Zedong Memorial Hall are the main sites on the Square. Next take an exterior view of newly-built National Theatre. The outlook of the theatre is a titanium accented glass dome that is completely surrounded by a man-made lake. It is said to look like an egg floating on water, or a water drop. It was designed as an iconic feature, something that would be immediately recognizable. Then proceed to the Forbidden City also known as Imperial Palace, once the home of emperors. Within the Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace. It is a remarkable complex of palaces and halls comprising 9,000 rooms.

BEIJING

Today’s highlight will surely be the Great Wall - one of mankind's greatest engineering achievements. First built during the spring and Autumn Period (770 - 467 BC), and extended from dynasty to dynasty, it meanders for some 6,400km, across mountains and valleys to keep the barbarians out and maintain the Serenity of the "Middle Kingdom". After lunch visit Niu Jie Mosque. It was built in 995, the Niu Jie Mosque is Beijing's largest and oldest mosque and the spiritual centre for the city's estimated 200,000 Muslims.

After breakfast, proceed to the immaculate Summer Palace also known as Yiheyuan. This Imperial Garden covers an area of 290 hectares. Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake are the few beautiful sites in this Imperial Garden. Next head for the Olympic Park where you can take an exterior view of the "Bird's Nest" -National Stadium and the "Water Cube" -National Aquatics Center. The National Stadium was designed as the main stadium of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Now, it's the center of international or domestic sports competition and recreation activities. After dinner enjoy the grand cultural show”Golden Mask Dynasty”.

BEIJING - TIANJIN - BEIJING

After breakfast, depart for Tianjin by the inter-liner high speed Bullet Train. The first China-made bullet train designed to run at 300 kilometres per hour, it reduces the travel time between Beijing and Tianjin to around 30 minutes from the current 70 to 80 minutes. Tianjin, also known as the diamond of the Bohai Gulf and the gateway to the capital of the People's Republic of China, is one of the biggest industrial and port cities in China. The city has a long and illustrious history, and the marks that the past has imprinted upon the place can still be seen today, albeit in diminished, and diminishing, form. Upon arrival, visit Food Alley and Quanye Changwhere you can find all kinds of local products etc. Next, visit the Mosque before coach back to Beijing.
