DAY 1
Singapore - Lanzhou (or Xining)
Assemble at Changi airport for your flight to Lanzhou (via Kunming). Lanzhou is capital city of Gansu province. Lanzhouis also an important stop along the Silk Road with a history of over 2,000 year. Upon arrival, star you sightseeing in Lanzhou, covering visit the Yellow River Iron Bridge, Mother Statue of the Yellow River and Ancient Water Wheel.
(Note: overnight stay at Lanzhou or Xining hotel will be subject to tour confirmation)

DAY 2
Xining
Xining – the provincial capital of Qinghai province. Today, you will visit Great Mosque (Dongguan Qingzhen Dasi), which is not only the most ancient religious complex in town, but also is one of the most important mosques in northwest China. (Local altitude about 2295m)

DAY 3
Xining - Qinghai Lake - Lhasa
After breakfast,you will visit the Kumbum (Ta’er) Monastery; the building well combined the Han and the Tibetan style and also the birthplace of Zongkaba, the founder of the Lamaism. Next, proceed toQinghai Lake which the shrine lake of Tibetans. The lake is famous for the pure water, clear sky and the mysterious religion’s environment. On the way you can far view the Sun and Moon Hill, the stop for Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty. You can also see the Sun Pavilion, Moon Pavilion and the Daotang River.Then return Xining and take the most luxurious Sightseeing Train to Lhasa. Over night on the train. (Local altitude about 3650m)

DAY 4
Lhasa
The most luxurious Sightseeing Train crosses through the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which starts at Xining and ends at Lhasa. Many stations are built near scenery spots, the most primitive vast highland scenery accompany you all the way, such as Mt. Kunlun, Kekexili, Qinhai-Tibet Grassland etc. The route: Xining – Gelmud – Tuotuo River – Amdo – Nagqu – Damxung – Lhasa. The meal on the train will be covered by own expense. After about 25 hrs travelling, you will arrival the Sunlight City – Lhasa, a saint city with 1300 years history. Take a good rest to acclimate for the 3650m altitude.

DAY 5
Lhasa
After breakfast, visit Lhasa's landmark - Potala Palace, a structure that deserves a place as one of the wonders of eastern architecture. In the afternoon, proceed to Jokhang Temple - the most revered religious structure in Tibet, and the surrounding area - Barkhor, Lhasa's pilgrimage circuit. This area is both the spiritual heart of Lhasa and the main commercial district for Tibetans.

DAY 6
Lhasa - Yangpachen Geothermal Area - Lhasa
Travel on northeast for about 100 kilometres, you arrive at the Yangpachen geothermal area, enjoying the charming landscape on the grassland of northern Tibet, commanding a long distance view of Mt. Chenthangla Range (average height is 5300m). Marvel the spectacular steaming hot springs and spouting geysers. You may enjoy a hot spring bath at your own expenses. Return to Lhasa process visit Tibet museum. Tibet museum to exhibited artefacts are treasures of the Tibetan Autonomous Region Cultural Relics Protection Organization. Some of these treasures are unique and being shown to the world for the first time; they are historical evidence of the history of Tibetan civilization. (Yangpachen altitude about 4200m)

DAY 7
Lhasa –Gyantse - Shigatse
Today, you'll explore outside of Lhasa. After breakfast, drive 110km to visit Yamdroktso- one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. It's winding road all up to the mountain, bumpy and somewhat thrilling. After pass over the Kambala pass of 4900m, the lake finally appears. Seen from the summit of Kambalapass, the lake is a fabulous shade of deep turquoise. After down from the mountain, there’s about 30km road along lakeside, with barley fields on the other side of the road. A nice walk by the lakeside can be a great joy. Leaving Yamdolktso is as spectacular as arriving, since you’ll cross the 5045m Karola, with its awesome roadside views of the Nojin Kangtsang Glacier. In the afternoon, you’ll go to Gyantse, visit Kumbum Monastery there. After that you’ll drive to Shigatse. (Shigatse altitude about 3860m)

DAY 8
Shigatse - Tingri
In the morning, you'll drive to visit the residence of Panchen Lama- Tashilunpo Monastery. Inside you can see the Divine Pagoda of Panchan Lama. After visiting this magnificent monastery, you’ll drive to Tingri - the closest town to Mt. Everest. Overnight in Tingri.（Tingri altitude about 4300m）

DAY 9
Tingri - Base Camp
Today go to Base Camp, get up close to Mt. Everest. Visit Rongpuk - world's highest monastery (Altitude about 5200m) . Overnight in Rongpuk Monastery Guesthouse.

DAY 10
Base Camp - Shigatse
Drive back to Shigatse, enjoy the nature scene on the road. Overnight in Shigatse. (Shigatse altitude about 3860m)

DAY 11
Shigatse - Lhasa
In the morning, you'll go back to Lhasa along the Yarlong Tseangpo River, enjoy the great landscape en route. (Lhasa altitude about 3650m)

DAY 12
Lhasa - Kunming (or Shanghai) - Singapore
After breakfast, you will take the coach about two hours’ driving (1000km) to Konggar Airport for your domestic flight to Chengdu and follow by international flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your vacation with CTC Travel.
