DAY 1
SINGAPORE - MADRID (Meals onboard)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight Madrid - Spain. Upon arrival be greeted by our local representative and transfer to your hotel.
DAY 2
MADRID (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Start your sightseeing tour of this most beautiful metropolis with a visit to Puerta del Sol and Madrid Central Mosque. Continue to admire some of Madrid's most important buildings, avenues, squares and neighbourhoods and learn more about the monuments and its history such as Gran Vía, Plaza de Espana, Complutense University of Madrid, Moncloa, Habsburg Madrid, Calle Mayor, Puerta de Alcala, Las Ventas, Plaza de Colon, Paseo de la Castellana, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza de Castilla and Cibeles Fountain.
DAY 3
MADRID - CORDOBA - SEVILLE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, continue our journey to Cordoba, the magnificent city of the Caliphate. Stroll through the cobblestoned streets of this medieval city and be spellbound by the Mezquita, the icon of the city. Built during the period of Moorish occupation, the splendid monument is the most splendid Islamic building in the western world. Its construction commenced in 785AD, when the Moors established Cordoba as capital of Andalusia, on the site of an ancient church dedicated to San Vicente and was extended during successive periods. Spend some time at leisure after lunch before you continue to Seville.
DAY 4
SEVILLE - GRANADA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
This morning, visit Seville Cathedral, which was built in 1403 on the site of a former mosque. With its five towering naves, it is the largest Gothic building in Europe. Its bell tower, the Giralda, was the former minaret of the mosque. Next, head to Royal Alcazar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built and rebuilt from the early Middle Ages right up to recent times, it consists of a group of palatial buildings and lush extensive gardens. Later, visit Plaza de Espana, an impressive square housing many important governmental buildings. The plaza's walls are decorated with 48 alcoves with benches, one for each province of Spain all designed with colourful ceramic tiles, which make perfect backdrops for photo opportunities. Thereafter, continue on your journey towards Granada, capital of Spain's last Moorish kingdom.
DAY 5
GRANADA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Granada lies at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the autonomous region of Andalusia and served as the Moorish capital of Spain until liberation in 1492. Embark on a walking tour to unravel the Islamic heritage of this enchanging city before touring the beautiful Alhambra and the adjoining Generalife Gardens. The palace, an Arabian fantasy of brilliant mosaics and tiles, is one of the greatest accomplishments of Islamic art and architecture. Then, proceed to visit the Albaycin, the ancient Moorish quarter of Granada and enjoy strolling through its winding streets. In the evening, be entertained by a flamboyant flamenco show.
DAY 6
GRANADA - ALGERCIRAS - TANGIER (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, board a ferry at the port of Algerciras and cross the Straits of Gibraltar to Morocco. Upon arrival at Tangier, transfer to your hotel and proceed for your dinner thereafter.
DAY 7
TANGIER - FEZ (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Start your day by exploring the medina of Tangier and stroll through its alleyways filled with shops and tea houses. Continue to the Kasbah which is located high on a hill offering expansive views of the ocean. Next, visit Tangier Grand Mosque, a large mosque that was built on the site of a former Portuguese cathedral which in turn stood on a Roman temple dedicated to Hercules. The mosque dates back to the reign of Moulay Ismail and was expanded in 1815 by Moulay Slimane. After lunch, continue on your journey to Fez, the imperial city with the shortest name and the longest history.
DAY 8
FEZ - MARAKKECH (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Fez by viewing the impressive exterior of Royal Palace. Continue with visits to Fez's exquisite Islamic architectural gems such as Bou Inania medersa, Al Quaraouiyine University, Al-Karaouine mosque and Al-Attarine medersa. Next, explore the medina amd lose yourself in the old winding streets filled with shops trading traditional Moroccan goods and foodstuff. Wander through its souks and alleys which remain unchanged since the Middle Ages. Thereafter, head towards Marrakech, arguably Morocco's most iconic city.
DAY 9
MARAKKECH (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
The city of Marrakech is one of the country's most visited and this colorful oasis is now one of Morroco's most bustling cities. Founded almost 1,000 years ago, the historic charms of Marrakech stands side by side with its cosmopolitan outlook. Explore the city's eye-catching landmarks such as Place Jemaa El Fna, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs and Bahia Palace.
DAY 10
MARAKKECH - CASABLANCA (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Continue to Casablanca to visit the country's economical capital. Arguably the wealthiest city of Morocco, this coastal city perched on the edge on the Atlantic Ocean possess a unique beauty and mystic about it. Visit the city's modernist landmark, the enormous and incredibly ornate Hassan II Mosque. Thereafter, enjoy and marvel at Casablanca's beautiful sunset at the harbour.
DAY 11
CASABLANCA - SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals Onboard)
If time permits you may wish to do some last minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
