DAY 1
SINGAPORE - OSLO (MEALS ONBOARD)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Oslo - Norway.
DAY 2
OSLO - GEILO (LUNCH/DINNER)
Embark on a tour of the Norwegian capital. The panoramic tour covers all major sights such as the twin-towered City Hall and Akershus Castle which lies on a bluff overlooking the harbour. The main street and heart of the city Karl Johan’s Gate is located directly in between the Royal Palace and the Oslo Central Station with the Parliament in the middle. You will pass the Vigeland Sculpture Park with sculptures of the creative designer Gustav Vigeland. Afterwards, drive to Holmenkollen for a bird’s eye view of the city and the fjord far below. From Oslo enjoy a scenic drive to Geilo.
DAY 3
GEILO - FLAM - BERGEN - LEIKANGER (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, transfer to Flam for a 2hrs round trip Fjord cruise to Gudvangen to experience the great Aurlandsfjord and Naeroyfjord, two of Norway's most attractive fjords. The Naeroyfjord, a branch of the Sognefjord, has been included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list and is considered to be among the most scenic fjord areas on the planet. Its outstanding natural beauty is derived from its narrow and steep-sided crystalline rock walls that rises up to 1400 m straight from the fjord. Later from Flam board a train on the renowned Flam Railway, the amazing rail journey between the high mountains and the fjord. The over 65 year old Flam Railway is widely known as one of the world's most fantastic stretches of railroad. On this amazing journey you will experience a climb of nearly 900 meters from fjord to mountain top, an incline of one to 18, a tunnel that twists in a spiral inside the mountain, and a view that will take your breath away. From Flam continue to Leikanger via Laerdal Tunnel then followed by a scenic ferry crossing from Fodnes to Mannheller arriving at Leikanger.
DAY 4
LEIKANGER - BERGEN (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
From Leikanger enjoy a scenic drive towards Bergen passing by panoramic views. Cross the Hardanger Bridge - a suspension bridge across the Hardangerfjorden in Hordaland county - Norway. Enjoy breathtaking sights as you travel on the longest suspension bridge in Norway towards Bergen. Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords. Embark on city tour of Bergen which is is the gateway to the fjords of Norway. It is also Norway’s second largest city, a world heritage city and was Norway’s capital city between the 12th and 13th century. The tour includes a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled pack houses and the old Hanseatic Quarter. Enjoy a ride on the funicular to Mt. Floien for the best views of the city and the harbour.
DAY 5
BERGEN - TROMSO (BREAKFAST/DINNER)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Tromso - a major cultural hub above the Arctic Circle. During winter, it is famed as a viewing point for the colorful Northern Lights that sometime light up the night time sky and to view the midnight sun during summer where the sun almost doesn’t set. Upon arrival, start your tour with a cable car ascent from Solliveien in Tromsdalen up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen (421 m above sea level) in just four minutes. From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromso and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords. Visit The Arctic Cathedral which the most the striking white triangular structure that is visible from most of Tromso island.
DAY 6
TROMSO - ALTA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
This morning continue to Alta to visit the Alta Museum which has one of the richest concentrations of rock art in Northern Europe made by hunters and gatherers. There are over 3000 rock carvings and the oldest ones over 7000 years old. The museum also showcase interesting exhibits on rock art and Alta's recent history, as well as temporary exhibitions of northern light, salmon fishing in the Alta River and art exhibitions.
DAY 7
ALTA - KARASJOKK - KIRKENES (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
Continue to Karasjokk to visit Sapmi Park which presents the Sami culture and history in an enthralling, informative and entertaining way. The cultural park lies in the centre of a Sami town with a population of 3000 people. At the magic theatre, watch a fascinating presentation where the action moves from the screen and the stage into the room creating a three-dimensional effect that gives the feeling of being in the middle of the action. End your day arriving at the small town of Kirkenes located at north east of Northern Norway, close to the Russian border.
DAY 8
KIRKENES - SAARISELKA (BREAKFAST/KING CRAB LUNCH/DINNER)
A different experience and adventure awaits today. Start your adventure with a stop at the Russian boarder for a photo stop then embark on a boat trip where you will witness diver who will dive to catch the king crab which will be served during lunch. There after sit back and relax as you cross the border into Finland.
DAY 9
SAARISELKA - ROVANIEMI (BREAKFAST/LAPLAND LUNCH/DINNER)
Enjoy a scenic drive from Saariselka to Rovaniemi. Upon arrival, visit a reindeer farm followed by a Lapland lunch. After lunch, visit the Arktikum which is a museum that tells the history and culture of Finnish Lapland. Enjoy a stroll along the glass covered gallery while viewing the exhibits. The exhibition is a real experience that provides an introduction to the stories behind the houses of old Rovaniemi as well as to popular beliefs and superstitions of the brown bear and the Eurasian elk.
DAY 10
ROVANIEMI - HELSINKI (BREAKFAST/DINNER)
Continue on your memorable visit to Santa Claus’ Village at the Arctic Circle. You will receive a certificate of crossing after you cross the Arctic Circle. Next meet Santa Claus in his lodge. There you can have your picture taken with Santa Claus and also shop for souvenir and handicrafts. Don’t forget to fill in your post cards and have it send from Santa’s Post Office with the special Arctic Circle stamp to your loved ones back home. Explore other parts of the village and visit some of the attractions there at your own expenses. After dinner, transfer to the train station for your overnight train to Helsinki.
DAY 11
HELSINKI - SINGAPORE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
Upon arrival into Helsinki, embark on a city tour which includes a visit to the Senate Square, Helsinki’s administrative centre, the University and its library, the White Cathedral, Senate Council and Sederholm House, which is the city’s oldest stone building. Continue to Market Place, the coastal streets of Helsinki, and the residential and diplomatic quarters of Kaivopuisto. View the outdoor sculpture, Sibelius Monument, created by Eila Hiltunen in honour of composer, Jean Sibelius and visit Temppeliaukion Church which is constructed out of solid rock. Then, admire the outstanding architectural design of Finlandia Hall of Congress, Concert Centre and Post Office Mansion. Later, in the afternoon you may wish to explore the city at your own leisure. Free at leisure till you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
