DAY 1
SINGAPORE – HANEDA/NARITA – OSAKA
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Osaka, a city that blends the traditional with the hyper-modern and presents both with a distinctly local flavour. Upon arrival, visit Osaka Castle, a symbol of the city with colourful blossoms in spring and bright crimson leaves in autumn. This evening, check in to a Universal Studios Japan official hotel and prepare for a fun day of thrills ahead.

Osaka castle is closed from 28 December to 1 January and will be replaced with Kuromon Ichiba Market.

DAY 2
OSAKA
There is nothing like a visit to a world-class theme park to bring out the inner child in you. This morning, prep yourself for a big day out at Universal Studios Japan, a 140-acre theme park with that offers 25 specially designed rides and performances. Get reacquainted with your childhood heroes at Universal Wonderland, a town with 3 iconic sections, namely Hello Kitty Fashion Avenue, Sesame Street™ Fun World and Snoopy Studios™. Enjoy The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, which brings to life the magical world of Hogwarts and other sights from the beloved book and film series. The park’s newest attraction is Minion Park; immerse yourself in the mayhem of the Minions with thrilling rides and more.

DAY 3
OSAKA – KYOTO – OSAKA
After breakfast, move on to the ancient capital of Kyoto, city of geishas, Zen gardens, temples and priceless historical monuments, which charms with its understated elegance and refinement. Make a stop at one of the city’s cultural legacies, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, for striking views of Kyoto city against the backdrop of Otowa Waterfall and the colours of the season. Next, step into the Shinto world through Fushimi Inari Taisha and its famous vermillion torii gates that lead you to the summit of the sacred Mt Inari.

DAY 4
OSAKA
Today, visit Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, the world’s largest aquarium, and experience nature from all over the world and interact with marine creatures. Next, proceed to Umeda Sky Building, strikingly unique high-rise structure consisting of 2 40-storey towers connected at the top by a ring-shaped observation deck, and an escalator crossing the wide atrium-like space in the centre. Before you end your day, head downtown to Osaka’s major shopping belt for a shopping spree at Shinsaibashi Shopping Street.

Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan is closed from 16 to 17 January and 20 to 21 February. There will be no replacement and a refund of 2300yen will be provided.

DAY 5
OSAKA – MT FUJI REGION
Begin your day by hopping on board a speedy bullet train ride and zip through to Hakone, a town famous for hot springs, natural beauty and the view across Lake Ashi near Mt Fuji. Upon arrival, make your way to Hakone Museum of Art, which displays mainly Japanese ceramics from prehistoric times through to the Edo period. The museum is also unique as it features a pretty moss garden that beautifully reflects the changing colours of the seasons. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing beauty bath at an onsen resort in the Mt Fuji region.

Note
Hakone Museum of Art will be closed on every Thursday, 25 to 31 December and 4 to 8 January and will be replaced with Lake Ashi 30-minute cruise ride.

Travellers will board the bullet train ride on your own from Osaka. Tokyo region driver will meet and greet at Mt Fuji region train station.

DAY 6
MT FUJI REGION – TOKYO
After breakfast, make a stop at Gotemba Premium Outlets. Diehard shopaholics and stylists will need an iron will and a steel-clad resolve to keep wallets in check, for a constellation of international brands and speciality stores housing the trendiest threads coverage here. Next, head to Tokyo and lose yourself amidst the hustle and bustle of the city and its multitude of major departmental stores. Indulge in another shopping spree in Shinjuku, a sprawling district dotted with dazzling neon signs and sleek skyscrapers.

DAY 7
TOKYO
After breakfast, spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Take your pick from the maze of contrasting yet complementary neighbourhoods in this dynamic city – the towering skyscrapers in Shinjuku, vibrant youth subcultures at Shibuya and Harajuku, or the polished bling of Ginza. Tokyo never fails to surprise, intrigue and delight! Alternatively, join an optional tour and say hello to Mickey at Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea at your own expense.
