DAY 1
Singapore - (Beijing/Kunming/Guangzhou) - Urumqi (Meals on Board/Dinner: Big Bazaar dance cum banquet performance at your own expense)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight and transit to Urumqi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, we will enjoy Big Bazaar dance cum banquet performance at own expense. Note: Lunch will be provided for group arriving in Urumqi in the morning.

DAY 2
Urumqi – Korla (B/L/D)
This morning, we will coach to Korla, also known as the hometown for pears. Along the way, we will visit Bosten Lake (boat ride at own expense), the largest lake in Xinjiang and one of the largest inland freshwater lakes in China.

DAY 3
Korla – Kuqa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will coach to visit Taklamakan Desert Highway. Afterwhich, we will head towards Kuqa, land of the Ancient Qiuci Kingdom, the hometown of Kumarajiva. He’s a renowned translator in the Chinese History. The “Diamond Sutra” that he had translated is still being recited by people after thousands of years.

DAY 4
Kuqa – Akzo (B/L/D)
Today we will coach to Grand Canyon of Mt Tianshan, made up of red brown boulders. Thereafter, we will visit the Qiuci grottoes, the Kizil Thousand Buddha Cave, that a very high artistic value. It was dug around the Third Century AD much earlier than the Mogao Grottoes and was abandoned during the 14th Century. It also stands a prominent position in the Buddhism arts of Asia. Then, we will proceed to Akzo, also known as the “Land of abundance” and “Fruits City”.

DAY 5
Akzo – Kashgar (B/L/D)
This morning, we will visit the Sacred Trees Garden where the trees are grown in various form unknowingly. Next, we will coach to prominent city of Silk Road – Xinjiang Kashgar.

DAY 6
Kashgar – Karakul Lake - Kashgar (B/L/D)
This morning, we will visit the Karakul Lake, also known as “black lake”. Located at the foot of Mt Muztagata at 3600m above sea level, 30m in depth and 10 square kilometers, this is where you will see glaciers of million years, alpine mountains with thin air and snows all year round. Afterwhich, we will return to the city for Kashgar Grand Bazaar, largest market in Xinjiang with varieties of local specialty and handicrafts.

DAY 7
Kashgar – Urumqi (B/L/D)
This morning, we will tour the Kashgar city. Thereafter, we will proceed to visit Fragrant Concubine Mausoleum followed by the Mosque, place of worship for the Muslim. Afterwhich, we will tour around the Old City Area which resembles the mountainous city of Italy with Mediterranean style. This is the most exotic city of China. Afterthat,take flight to Urumqi.

DAY 8
Urumqi - Beijing/Kunming/Guangzhou - Singapore (B/Meals on board)
After breakfast, if time permits we will enjoy leisure time before bidding farewell to the memorable Xinjiang journey and transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore.

Remarks:

1. Tour is conducted in Mandarin; tour sequence of itinerary is subject to change; 2. The itinerary for day 6 includes Karakul Lake which will pass through highland with an altitude of 3600m above sea level. Hence, passengers with heart disease and high blood pressure will need to subject to their health condition. They may choose to rest at Kashgar hotel and meet up with the group during dinner; 3. As this itinerary mainly covers the Muslim areas, and the main activities within the mountainous area are grazing cattle and sheep; hence beef and muttons will be served in most of the meals. 4. Tour groups on different flight schedule may be merged. Any extension/deviation after the tour is subject to the stipulated date stated on the air ticket prior to departure. 5. All hotel ratings are based on local terms. If hotel is pending certification from the relevant body, we will use comparable to x star standard for your reference. 6. In the event of discrepancy between the Chinese and English tour itineraries, please refer to the former for accuracy.
