The event will feature agricultural-industry representatives from all over Taiwan exhibiting botanical beauty and diversity. DAY 2
TAICHUNG – CHIAYI – ALISHAN
Get set to continue on with the theme of heritage today. After breakfast, visit Fenchihu Old Street. Endowed with over 100 years of history, Fenchihu Railway Station was the largest and most important station of the ALishan Forest Railway, which transported commuters to Alishan. Reminisce the past and imagine what it must have been like as you tuck into the famous Fenchihu Railway Bento for lunch. Beloved by both locals and tourists alike, Alishan National Scenic Area is one of Taiwan’s most famous and visited nature parks, as attested to by the folk songs devoted to it. Visit attractions such as Sister Lakes, an ancient 1,000-year-old cypress tree and Shouzhen Temple. Take a leisure walk through forest trails and admire beautiful heritage trees and mountain peaks shrouded in misty clouds. It is quite likely that you might break into song at this juncture.
Note
Visit to Fenchihu Old Street and Alishan National Scenic Area is subject to weather conditions and will be replaced with Monster Village and Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area if unavailable.
Please bring along an overnight bag for Alishan overnight stay.

DAY 3
ALISHAN – NANTOU
The sunrise, sea of clouds, forest, sunset glow and railway are known as the “Five Wonders of Alishan”. This early morning, take the Alishan sunrise viewing train, also known as ‘Alishan Mini Train’ to Zhushan Station, where the sunrise viewing platform is located. It is also the highest railway station in Taiwan. Taking a deep breath of fresh air, admire the beauty of nature, thankful for the chance to witness the grand sight. The rising sun and sea of clouds in Alishan is a sight not be missed, as its rays filter through the clouds, lighting the sky and warming the land. Thereafter, visit the sprawling Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, a 62-hectre theme park that takes its cue from Taiwan’s aboriginal culture, among others. Take a stroll in its European-style garden or experience that rush of adrenaline on a roller coaster ride. Next, make a stop at Wenwu Temple before adjourning to gorgeous Sun Moon Lake, one of Taiwan’s most popular scenic spots and the country’s largest body of water, for a leisure cruise. Its poetic name is derived from the unique shape that resembles the sun and the moon. Spend the night at the beautiful and peaceful Sun Moon Lake district, contemplate the quiet beauty of nature and retreat from the frenzied hustle and bustle of city life.
Note
Please prepare warm clothes for sunrise and sea of clouds viewing experience as weather temperature is expected to hover around 3 to 15 degrees celsius. Morning call will be around 4am to 5am local time. Alishan National Scenic Area sunrise and sea of clouds viewing experience is subject to weather conditions and based on official scheduled timetable and will not be replaced if unavailable.
