After that, proceed to Nagara River Ukai Museum to learn about the history behind the culture and tradition of cormorant fishing along the Nagara River that Gifu city is known for. Next, head to your hotel as you prepare to experience cormorant fishing up close and personal experience on the Ukai Cormorant Fishing Viewing boat. Marvel at the astonishing teamwork between usho and the cormorants on board the old-fashioned Ukai viewing boat as you savour your bento box dinner and take in the glorious views of the Nagara River. In the evening, wrap up the day with a relaxing hot spring bath at an onsen resort in Gifu region.
