DAY 1
SINGAPORE - SHANTOU
Stay at Shantou Long Hu Hotel or equivalentAssemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Shantou, Guangdong province via Jetstar. Located just across the sea from Taiwan where one can experience pleasant climate all-year round, the city retains the unique marine culture and traditions. Upon arrival, you will head for your dinner before checking into the hotel.

DAY 2
SHANTOU – (APPROX 1 HR) CHAOZHOU
Stay at Chaozhou Hong Wei Lin Jiang Hotel or equivalentAfter breakfast, visit Zhongshan Park, Stone Fort Pak, Lao Ma Gong and Overseas Chinese New Village Pedestrian. Next, continue to China’s famous bridge village, Chaozhou. Upon arrival, visit Hanwengong Temple, which is built to commemorate the great Tang writer, Han Yu. At night, embark a night tour to ancient wall and music cultural square at your own expenses.

DAY 3
CHAOZHOU – (APPROX 4.5HRS) YONGDING
Stay at Yongding Tu Lou Hotel or equivalentAfter breakfast, enjoy a tram ride (own expenses) to explore Ancient Chaozhou City, Dong Men ancient wall, followed by Kaiyuan Temple build during the Tang Dynasty. Thereafter visit one of China’s 4 famous bridges, Xiangzi Bridge also known as “Guangji Bridge”. It is one of the earliest forms of bridges that allowed the structure to open and close for larger passing vessels. Thereafter, proceed to Yongding and after dinner check in hotel for a good rest.

DAY 4
YONGDING - (APPROX 1HR) DAPU (APPROX 1.5HRS) MEIZHOU
Stay at Meizhou Vienna Hotel or equivalentAfter breakfast, we will head to the World Culture Heritage-Hakka Yongding Earthen House Folk Culture Heritage; visit the Zhencheng Lou, Fuyu Lou, Kui ju Lou and Rusheng Lou. In the afternoon, we will head to Dapu, visit Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s ancestral House.This home with grey tiled roof and ink paintings on the walls was built by Lee Kuan Yew’s great-grandfather in 1848. Since Mr Lee Kuan Yew’s passing on March 23, 2015, local villagers surrounding this ancestral home of Singapore’s late founding prime minister have been paying their respects and mourning his demise. Thereafter head to Meizhou, take a tram ride embark a night tour at Meizhou Mei River at your own expenses.

DAY 5
MEIZHOU – (APPROX 2.5HRS) SHANTOU - SINGAPORE
After breakfast, visit Hakka Park and Hakka History Museum. Continue visit Hakka Weilong House, a type of traditional Hakka residential dwelling built during the Tang Dynasty and popularized during the Qing Dynasty. It has harnessed the building techniques of the Han tribe who would raise the pillars and interlocked them to form an interconnecting structure. Thereafter coach to Shantou Jieyang Airport for your flight to Singapore.
