SINGAPORE – SIEM REAP

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, enjoy a traditional wooden boat ride on the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia Tonle Sap, also known as the “Great Lake” of Cambodia. Next, visit Les Artisans d‘Angkor, renowned for its woodworking, stone carving and polychrome workshops. Tonight, enjoy buffet dinner with traditional dance performance. After dinner, you may enjoy shopping at Siem Reap Night Market.

If Tonle Sap is unsuitable to visit due to shallow water levels, it will be replaced with West Baray

SIEM REAP

After breakfast, prepare yourself for a exhilarating time at Angkor Zipline. Start the zipline tour inside UNESCO World Heritage designated Angkor Archaeological Park. Witness the beautiful wildlife, fauna and flora as you zip pass the rainforest. After lunch, visit the South gate of Angkor Thom to view its series of colossal human faces carved in stones. View the enigmatic smiling faces of Bayon Temple along its narrow corridors and steep flight of stairs. Travel to Ta Prohm Temple, also known as „Tomb Raider Temple‟. See enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure. Next, head to the Magnificent Angkor Wat, one of the 7 Wonders of the New World. View carvings on the walls which reveal the beliefs, practices and the way of life then. Stroll around the site of this massive monument to explore many of its galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds. Visit BaKheng Mountain at dusk to view the spectacular sunset from the top of this Cambodian temple. After dinner, proceed to Pub Street for a feel of the Cambodian night life.
Note:
2-3 hours walk comprises some difficult parts in the temple or slope that might prove strenuous for the less fit.

This morning, transfer to Kompong Phluk floating village, a village that is home to many fishermen. Witness the daily lives of the locals by the lakeside. Change into a smaller boat and sail pass the mangroves in tranquillity. In the afternoon, proceed for a Khmer Ceramic workshop where you will learn the processes of making an Angkorian bowl. Then, giddy up and proceed for a horse-riding experience at The Happy Ranch Horse Farm. Have a trotting experience as your horse brings you around the unique and beautiful side of Cambodia. End the day with a 1hr body/foot massage in the hotel.

SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH

Today, transfer by coach to Phnom Penh - the capital of Cambodia and home to a million of the country’s 15 million people. Upon arrival, transfer to visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace is the official residence of King Norodom Sihamoni. Next, proceed to Tuol Sleng Genocidal Museum which provides a grim reminder of the genocidal horrors from 1975 to 1979 by the notorious Khmer Rouge. Visit the Gem shop, Factory Outlet Store and Central Market, a covered market distinguished by its central dome to browse and shop. It is filled with shops selling fabrics and all kinds of souvenirs.

If time permits, you can do some last–minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
