SINGAPORE - SIEM REAP

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Siem Reap, a small colonial town a small colonial town with French colonial architecture influences. Upon arrival, proceed to Angkor Silk Farm to discover and understand the whole silk production process; from the growing of mulberry trees to silk weaving. Next, visit Artisans D’Angkor to learn the traditional Khmer techniques used in stone and wood carving, lacquering and gilding. The numerous items made in the workshops are inspired by rich Cambodian heritage. Thereafter, proceed to Old Market or Pub Street to do some shopping for local products. In the evening, enjoy your dinner while viewing a Khmer traditional performance.

SIEM REAP

After breakfast, transfer to a local school to engage with the local community. Get involved in lunch preparation and interact with local school children. After lunch, enjoy a light workout while preparing necessity packs, which you will distribute to local households during the following home visit. Gain an insight into the local cultures as you exchange stories with local villagers. Thereafter, return to the city for dinner.

Note:
Do have a heavy breakfast as only light snacks will be served mid-day due to the ongoing activities.
You may be involved in lunch preparation or furniture assembly for the local school children, subject to group size and passenger mobility.

SIEM REAP

In the morning, tour Angkor Thom (Great Angkor or Great City) built by Jayavarman VII, renowned as Angkor’s greatest king. Next, proceed to Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and Phimeanakas. After which, visit Ta Prohm, a temple that has been preserved in its natural state and surrounded by jungle. Its stone hallways are overgrown with the roots and limbs of massive banyan trees, which have enveloped the stone structures like tentacles. In the afternoon, visit one of the world’s most acclaimed World Heritage Sites, Angkor Wat, which features the largest temple in the world built by King Suryarvarman II during the height of development of Khmer civilisation. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of its architecture, as well as extensive bas-reliefs and numerous devatas adorning its walls. In the evening, proceed to Bakheng Hill to witness a romantic sunset.

SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH

After breakfast, proceed to board a cruise at Tonle Sap Lake to visit one of Asia’s largest floating villages. Next, transfer to the bus station for your coach ride to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.

5-6 hours coach ride from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh (v.v.).
- For group size less than 10 adults, public coach with guide accompany will be used. - For group size with 10 adults and above, private coach with guide accompany will be used.

PHNOM PENH - SINGAPORE

Today, visit the Royal Palace (proper attire) and Silver Pagoda. The Royal Palace is the official residence of King Norodom Sihamony, several buildings within the gleaming yellow walls of the compound can be visited.
Visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum known as the Museum of Genocidal Crimes. In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21). Next proceed to Independence Monument, Naga Casino and drive along the river for a view of the city and its local life style. Lastly, visit the Central Market for some souvenir shopping. Thereafter, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Proper attire is required to visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.
