SINGAPORE – FUKUOKA
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Fukuoka. Upon arrival, visit Dazaifu Tenmangu, a famous shrine enveloped with 6,000 plum trees. OKAYAMA – SHIKOKU – OSAKA
This morning, travel along the first Seto-ohashi Bridge that links Honshu and Shikoku. Opened in 1988, the bridge spans over 37.3 km, of which 13 km is used by trains and cars. Next, visit Kotohira-gu Shrine that is located halfway up Mt Zozu-san in the western Kagawa at an altitude of 524 meters. Though it enshrines the protector deity for sea-farers, people have been worshipping there for protection, health and against all evils. After DIY udon lunch, be awed by the great Naruto whirlpools that lies beneath the Ohnaruto bridge. The highlight is the roaring vortex itself, which swirls up to 20 km per hour at a maximum diameter of 20 meters. Enjoy the view from 45 meters above the whirlpools when you walk on a glass bottom promenade along the lower structure of the Ohnaruto bridge. Next, travel on the longest suspension bridge that links Kobe, Awaji island and Naruto which is 89 km long, arrive at vibrant Shinsaibashi, where you will find the latest fashion, a wide array of local and international food, cafes and many entertainment outlets

BEPPU – HIROSHIMA
Prep yourself for a journey straddling various modes of transportation. First, make your way across the 1,068-metre long Kanmonkyo Bridge, a suspension bridge over the Kanmon Straits that links the island of Kyushu to Central Japan. Hop onboard a speedy bullet train ride to Hiroshima. Next, take a ferry ride to tranquil Miyajima Island and visit Itsukushima Shrine, a superb architectural beauty that appears to float on water at high tide. Do not forget to take a photo of the iconic Otorii Gate, believed to be the gateway between the spirit and human worlds. A liminal space, if you will.
