Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Auckland. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

DAY 2
Auckland – Te Puke – Rotorua
This morning, journey towards Te Puke to visit a kiwi fruit orchard and take a guided tour through the orchard. Next, proceed to Rotorua and head to Te Puia to view the natural wonderland of bubbling mud pools, erupting geysers and steaming hot springs at Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley. Learn about Maori culture at New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. You may wish to enjoy a relaxing soak in the mineral pools of Polynesian Spa at your own expense.

DAY 3
Rotorua
Take a gondola ride to admire the surrounding panoramic views as you ascend to the top of Mt Ngongotaha. Indulge in an exclusive champagne breakfast amidst the beautiful views of Rotorua at Skyline Skyrides. Next, experience an exhilarating ride on the Luge. The Luge is a fun-filled 2-kilometre-long gravity ride on a cart which is suitable for all ages. Thereafter, stroll through the beautiful Rainbow Springs Nature Park, home to thousands of trout and native birds, and meet the most popular New Zealand icon, the kiwi. Proceed to Agrodome Farm Show and watch sheep dogs and 19 breeds of sheep perform. To top off this evening’s experience, enjoy a traditionally cooked hangi feast dinner from earthen ovens and relish in a Maori concert with lively songs and performances.

DAY 4
Rotorua – Matamata – Auckland
Travel to Matamata to experience Hobbiton Movie Set Tour where “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies were filmed. See the remnants of the original Hobbiton village and be awed by the picturesque New Zealand farmland. Witness the setting of the movie with a large pine tree by the lake and the surrounding rolling countryside. Next, continue to Auckland for a city tour through this cosmopolitan City of Sails. Stop to admire the best views of Auckland Harbour Bridge, one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks, and Victorian buildings at charming Parnell Village.

DAY 5
Auckland – Christchurch – Oamaru – Dunedin
Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic ride to Oamaru and head to Moeraki Boulders, renowned for its natural and perfectly spherical boulders on the beach. Next, proceed to Dunedin which has a strong Scottish heritage. Start your city tour at Baldwin Street, which is known as the world’s steepest street. You will see University of Otago, New Zealand’s oldest university and stop over at Dunedin Railway Station, arguably the most photographed building in New Zealand.

DAY 6
Dunedin – Te Anau
Visit Cadbury World which will delight you and your taste buds. Go on a guided chocolate factory tour and get to see exciting interactive displays. Thereafter, head to Te Anau. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure. You may wish to join an optional tour to Te Anau Glowworm Caves at your own expense, where you will be taken by boat into a silent hidden grotto inhabited by thousands of glowworms that are unique to New Zealand.

Cadbury World is closed on 25 and 26 December, 1 and 2 January, and from early to mid June for routine maintenance, and will be replaced with a tour to Olveston Historic Home or Larnach Castle and Gardens.

DAY 7
Te Anau – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Today, head to the ruggedly beautiful Milford Sound, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go on a cruise and marvel at towering cliffs and peaks including the iconic Mitre Peak that rises more than a kilometre straight out of the sea. Waterfalls cascade into the fjord and luxuriant rainforest clings to sheer rock faces in this exceptional place.

Queenstown

Queenstown – Mt Cook National Park – Lake Tekapo – Christchurch
This morning, travel to Mt Cook National Park region. Stop by Mt Cook Lookout at Lake Pukaiki where Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain, stands. If weather permits, take an optional helicopter ride up to Tasman Glacier at your own expense. Thereafter, visit Church of the Good Shepherd by the edge of the lovely Lake Tekapo before you continue your journey to Christchurch.

Christchurch – Auckland – Singapore
Visit International Antarctic Centre to gain insights to the awesome beauty of the Antarctic. Next, embark on a city tour of Christchurch and drive past Transitional Cardboard Cathedral. Head to the famous Cashmere Hills for fine views of Christchurch, which is also known as the most English city outside England. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore the city. This evening, proceed for your domestic flight back to Auckland and transfer for your flight home.
