DAY 2
BARCELONA
Barcelona, the second largest city in Spain in terms of size and population, features a pleasant Mediterranean climate and stands on a plain that slopes gently down from Sierra de Collserola to the sea. Visit the city’s spectacular icon, Sagrada Familia, also known as Basilica of the Holy Family, a large Roman Catholic church which is also a grand unfinished magnum opus by renowned Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. Next, ravel at Gaudi’s masterpieces such as the Casa Mila, Casa Batllo and even the Park Guell, a famous park showcasing Gaudi’s works of extraordinary imagination. In the afternoon, explore Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, the largest square in Barcelona and home to some of Spain’s most famous streets lined with cafes, restaurants and kiosks. This area also bustles with performing street artists and is popular with tourists and locals alike.

DAY 3
BARCELONA - VALENCIA
After breakfast, travel to the third largest city of Spain, Valencia, which houses the City of the Arts and Science, the main tourist attraction in the city. Be amazed by the sight of citrus plantations around the city. Next, view the Central Market, a huge iron, glass and tiled Art Nouveau building opened in 1928 which is one of the largest and most attractive markets in Europe. Thereafter, visit the famous landmark, Lonja de la Seda, a Gothic-style building that was endorsed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, look forward to feast on a mouth-watering Valencian specialty, seafood paella dinner.

VALENCIA - MADRID

MADRID
Situated at 2,000 feet above sea level, Madrid is Europe’s highest capital city. Housing a wealth of palaces, castles and museums, tour the old and new key sections of Madrid like Plaza Mayor, Cibeles Fountain and Royal Palace, and get fascinated by the plush decorations, furnishings and frescoes. Later, stroll along the shopping district of Puerto del Sol to shop for locally branded fashion labels and sample local cuisines. In the afternoon, you may visit amazing Toledo, the former capital city of Spain at your expense.
Note If Royal Palace is closed, it will be replaced by a visit to Prado Museum.

MADRID – GRANADA
Continue to Granada, capital of Spain’s last Moorish kingdom. Tour the crown jewel of Granada known as the resplendent Alhambra and the adjoining Generalife Gardens, one of the oldest surviving Moorish Gardens. The palace, an Arabian fantasy of brilliant mosaics and tiles, is one of the greatest accomplishments of Islamic art and architecture. The Alhambra is simply breathtaking, especially the dazzling fountains set in the Generalife Gardens. In the evening, indulge in a delectable and moreish spread of a traditional Spanish tapas dinner. In addition, you may choose to end the night with a fascinating flamenco performance at your own expense.

DAY 7
GRANADA – TANGIER
Today depart from Granada, you will board a high-speed ferry to travel across the Strait of Gibraltar to Morocco, in an eye-opening journey which extends to the exciting Moroccan city of Tangier. Take a tour of Tangier and immerse yourself in the panoramic sights of the city. Next, embark on a walking tour of the little souk, the medina (old quarter) and the kasbah (old fortress). Discover Morocco’s rich architecture, browse the spices market, stop to see the snake charmer and visit one of the local bakeries to try some tasty bread. Thereafter, enjoy shopping at a typical bazaar, where you will see many types of carpets and handicrafts. Make a short stop at Cape Spartel, where you can see the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean sea blend together. Next, visit Cave of Hercules and stop by the white sand dunes that border the Atlantic. Here, you may choose to go on a camel ride at your own expense. Alternatively, you may also spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore this beautiful area.

DAY 8
TANGIER – MEKNES – FEZ
Today, travel to the city of Meknes to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to visit Place el Hedime (Square of Ruins) and Bab el Mansoul (Gate of Victorious Rebegade). If time permits, you may practice your bargaining abilities while shopping at the bazaar. Thereafter, continue your journey to the Imperial city of Fez, the second largest city in Morocco. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan folklore dinner.

DAY 9
FEZ – RABAT – CASABLANCA
In the morning, head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Rabat is home to the Royal Palace of his majesty King Mohamed VI. The city is also the headquarters of the government, parliament, ministries and administrations and also the city which houses some of the earliest universities in the country. The city features an important archaeological heritage dating back from the 12 th century. Begin your city tour with the Andalusian Wall built by Muslim refugees from Andalusia in the 17th century. Visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V built in memory of Mohammed V, the father of Moroccan independence. Thereafter, continue our journey to Casablanca. Immerse in the sights of United Nations Place, Mohammed V Square and the Central Market on your city tour before continuing to the Habbous quarter to admire the Royal Palace from the exterior. Visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and the seventh-largest in the world. Its 656-feet-high Minaret, the lighthouse of Islam, has two laser beams reaching over a distance of 30km shining in the direction of Mecca. End your day with a visit to the Medina, an old-walled part of town, as well as a great place to simply lost yourself as you explore the shops in little nooks and crannies. You may also pick up some good bargains here for authentic wares and crafts.
