Upon arrival, get acquainted with the city’s ancient charms with a tour through the heart of its old town. After feasting your eyes on the impressive baroque-style architecture of Church of St Nicholas with its impressive twin bell towers and towering dome, head to nearby Market Colonnade and stroll through dozens of charming little shops selling a wide variety of local produce and souvenirs. The market curves along the east bank of the river Ljubljanica, between Triple Bridge and Dragon Bridge, offering plenty of visual treats as well. Later, cross Triple Bridge to the city’s main meeting point, Preseren Square, named after the greatest Slovene poet, France Preseren.

DAY 3
LJUBLJANA – LAKE BLED – ZAGREB
This morning, make your way to Slovenia’s most famous lake, Lake Bled. Marvel at the stunning crystal blue-green lake, immerse in its idyllic surroundings and fresh clear air, take a moment to ponder and understand why it is described by many as paradise on Earth. Delve deeper into the region’s beauty with a pletna boat ride to Bled Island, a picturesque islet crowned by the exquisite Church of the Assumption. Then, continue on your journey to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, for your overnight stay.
Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 4
ZAGREB – RASTOKE – PLITVICE LAKES
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of this old Central European city, with its baroque atmosphere in the upper town, picturesque open-air markets and great shopping. Take in sights like Roosevelt Square, Ban Jelacic Square and Zagreb Cathedral. Stroll through the medieval core of the upper town to Croatian Parliament, St Mark’s Church, Kamenita Vrata or Stone Gate, and the ancient Lotrscak Tower. Thereafter, make a photo stop at Rastoke, known for its well-preserved mills and the picturesque little waterfalls, and is often being referred to as "the Small Lakes of Plitvice”.
Meals: (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 5
PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT
Get ready for a change of scene as you approach Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Europe’s most impressive national parks with a designated UNESCO World Heritage status since 1979. Hold your breath as you walk towards the 70-metre tall Veliki Slap, the largest waterfall in the park. The beauty of the park lies in its 16 crystalline lakes, interconnected by a series of cascades, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. Then, drive through the Croatian countryside to Split, the 2nd-largest city in Croatia.
Meals: (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 6
SPLIT – TROGIR – DUBROVNIK
Today, soak up the exuberance of the Dalmatian city of Split as you embark on a city tour through its most important sights. Relive the days of the past as you come face-to-face with Diocletian’s Palace, Temple of Jupiter and Cathedral of St Domnius. With dramatic coastlines and turquoise waters of the Adriatic surrounding remnants of Roman, Renaissance and Gothic buildings, this charming city is a sight to behold. Continue to Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is renowned for its Romanesque churches which are complemented by the Renaissance and Baroque buildings and fortifications. Stroll through the old streets and spend your time at leisure. Then, travel along the coast to Dubrovnik, also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic.

After breakfast, embark on a tour to Kotor, a coastal town in Montenegro. It is well-known for its medieval structures including churches and fortifications, and its stunning natural setting at the very edge of the mountain-rimmed Bay of Kotor, the deepest natural fjord-like bay in the Mediterranean Sea. Imagine yourself living in medieval times as you see Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery up close, which also houses Europe’s 3rd-oldest pharmacy. Spend the rest of your day at leisure to explore the old town, stroll through the markets, enjoy a meal in a seaside restaurant or simply relax. Next, continue to the historical town of Mostar.
Meals: (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 9
MOSTAR – SARAJEVO
Begin your morning in Mostar, an outstanding early example of a multicultural urban settlement which is first developed by the Ottoman Empire and occupied by generations of multicultural residents. Packed with plenty of architectural gems from different eras, ranging from pre-Ottoman, Ottoman, Mediterranean and Western European architectural elements, the city is a feast for the eyes. Walk across the town’s indisputable star, Stari Most, also commonly known as Old Bridge, and revel in the moment as the pale stone arch cast a sweeping reflection on the river beneath. This afternoon, be prepared for a fusion of east meets west in Sarajevo, the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. A city that had risen from the ashes time and time again from its tumultuous times throughout history, its rejuvenated historic centre is filled with spired minarets, bustling bazaars and a certain buzz about town. Stroll down the cobbled streets of Bascarsija, founded by the Ottomans in the 15th century, and you may think that you have landed in Turkey! Explore Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque and the ruins of the 1984 Winter Olympics site, before visiting Tunnel Museum to experience the life of the besieged during the war. This afternoon, try Bosnian coffee and shop for traditional and handcrafted wares at your own leisure. Celebrate a wonderful trip this evening with your travel companions at a Farewell Dinner.
