This morning, get ready for a tour to Weta Workshop. See how a film’s creative process unfolds and watch master designers and craftsmen at work as they create amazing movie effects and props. Then, check out authentic prop replicas and collectibles from well-loved movies like “The Hobbit”, “Avatar”, “The Chronicles of Narnia” and others at Weta Cave. Get your hands dirty with a DIY chainmaille experience after the studio tour. Then, enjoy New Zealand flavours at Mojo Coffee Café where a cup of premium coffee will awaken your senses. Continue to Gelissimo Gelato where you can savour award winning gelato and sorbetto. Next, visit Moore Wilson’s, a unique deli and fresh food store. Thereafter, go on a historic cable car ride (1-way) to Kelburn lookout for stunning views of the surrounding attractions.

After breakfast, start your Martinborough day tour from the Wellington Railway Station. Go on a Wairarapa scenic train ride, an approximate 1-hour journey past Wellington Harbour and the picturesque Wairarapa Valley to Featherston. Upon arrival, proceed to Greytown. This pretty town is awarded New Zealand’s most beautiful small town in 2017. You will visit Martinborough winery for a wine-tasting session before heading back to Wellington.

After breakfast, board a domestic flight to Dunedin. Upon arrival, start the city tour at University of Otago, New Zealand’s oldest university and stop over at Dunedin Railway Station, arguably the most photographed building in New Zealand. Next, visit Cadbury World. Go on a guided chocolate factory tour and participate in DIY chocolate session with varieties of chocolate moulds and toppings. You may keep your handmade chocolate as souvenir. Continue to Larnach Castle for a Scottish high tea with breathtaking views. Explore the historic castle with magnificent carved ceilings and beautiful 14-hectare garden.

Then, continue to Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world which is surrounded by majestic mountains and set on the shores of crystal clear Lake Wakatipu. This evening, indulge in lobster and abalone seafood dinner before you transfer to your hotel.

Thereafter, proceed to Ladybird Hill salmon farm. You may taste the freshly caught salmon paired with wine. After lunch, coach to Mt Cook National Park. En route, stop by Mt Cook Lookout at Lake Pukaki. If weather permits, you may take an optional helicopter ride to Tasman Glacier at your own expense.
