SINGAPORE—XIAMEN—DONGSHAN—SHANTOU

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Xiamen. Coach to Dongshan Island, visit Tongshan Ancient City, originally built in the Ming Dynasty, and used to be a fortress. The ancient city has 4 gates at four directions. Standing on the ancient city, you can get a view of the beautiful beach and sea landscapes. It is considered as one of the five ancient cities at the sea frontier of Fujian. Take view of Fengdongshi (Stone Wind), If possible, you are able to watch the local traditional fishing method “Seine Fishing” (Fishing period around: May – Oct, depending on the actual situation) Dongshan Seafood for dinner. Coach to Shantou.

SHANTOU—CHAOZHOU

After breakfast, we will take a stroll at the marina coastline and the Peoples’ Square before we visit one of the four man-made garden in China – the Zhongshan Park, the main entrance had a red archway, the rockeries and the zigzag bridge which are mighty, majestic, brilliant layout and has fully demonstrate the historical and cultural heritage background. Next, we will tour the Laoma Temple which was built during the Jiaqing time of the Qing Dynasty. This is the earliest temple before Shantou was being opened up. “Laoma” is how the Shaotou people address the Goddess of the Sea whilst others name it as “Tianhou Temple”. This is also the goddess that the locals will worship before they travel or set off for fishing. We will visit the oldest and the most distinguish “Piaoxiang Local Snack Shop” to taste the Soon Kueh and the Gingko Ginger Soup. With its lavish ingredients, the snack is not only a type of food to the local; it symbolizes a kind of happiness and fortunateness. Enjoy your leisure at Huaqiaoxincun walking street. Chaoshan 18 styles flavors for lunch. Coach to Chaozhou. Next, we will take the ecological tram around the Chaozhou ancient city – The Kaiyuan Temple, the Guangji Gate, and see the renowned Xiangzi Bridge from far. We will be having Chaocai Cuisine for dinner. At night, you will experience the leisure lifestyle of the Chaoshan people by coach tour the surrounding of the ancient city, the ancient wall and the musical fountain square at your own expense.

CHAOZHOU—HUA’AN EARTHEN HOUSE—ZHANGZHOU—XIAMEN

After breakfast, we will coach to the group of the “Fujian Hua’an Earthen House”, it consists of the Eryi Tower, the Dongyang Tower and the Nanyang Tower. The Eryi Tower is the largest among thousands over earthen houses in Fujian. With its majestic architecture and artistic elegant garden, it has rich historical values. Next, we will visit the Nanyang Earthen House Museum where you will have better understanding on the history and development of the Earthen House. You may also enjoy the ethnic performance by the Taiwanese Gaoshan ethnic at the Dong Yang Tower (Hua’an is the place in mainland China where the Taiwanese Gaoshan ethnics will gather together). We will savor the Authentic Earthen House Cuisine for lunch. Next proceed to Zhangzhou to visit the Famer fruits garden and taste the seasonal fruits during the tour. Furthermore get to taste the Green Tea Taro Cake for free. Coach back to Xiamen, we will enjoy some Chinese Tea. At night, we will watch the unique Fujian Song and Dance Performance – the Minnan Shenyun at your own expense after dinner of the authentic Fujian cuisine.

XIAMEN

After breakfast, tour the South Putuo Temple; it’s a traditional Fujian ancient architecture that was built during the Tang Dynasty. Take a coach tour of the Huan Dao Road which is the known as “Hawaii of the East”, the International Exhibition Center, and the Mt Guanyin marina leisure district. You will find the largest man-made beach of China; see the Jinmen Islands from far. Visit Silk factory. Seafood flavor for lunch such as seafood fried noodle, Hotplate Squid, Minnan Fried oyster omelets etc. Continue to visit Overseas Chinese Museum before visiting the arts and crafts shop. Enjoy Egret Island Park and the Statue. We will be savor Fujian flavor for dinner. At night, we will coach through the Xiamen Night Scene, tour the Night Market, the Zhongshan Road Shopping District and taste the local snacks at your own expense. Get to sample Xiamen Spring roll for free.

XIAMEN - MT WUYI

After breakfast, take a ferry to the Garden on the Sea - Gulangyu, where you will see the multi nation Architecture Exhibition such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Spain Consulate General of the former site of the Catholic Church, Concord cathedral (the venue that modern literary Mr. Lin Yutang holds his wedding) and also varieties style of the old villa. It’s a must to try the local specialty snack – the Yap’s glutinous rice ball at the century old shop and do some shopping at the Longtou commercial street. Visit Bamboo products. After which, we will visit the Wuyuan Bay Leisure District. The district is make-up of the Wuyuan wetland park, the Wuyuan commercial street, the Marina etc. There is also beautiful scenery by the bay. Next, visit Jinmen kitchenware store. In the evening take flight from Xiamen back to Wuyi, upon arrival check-in into hotel.

MT WUYI

Mt Wuyi is a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site, with its scenery list to in the Southeast region. Continue to Jade Dragon Valley (Yu Long Gu) to view waterfalls, Guest-greetings Pine… Next take a bamboo raft ride on the Nine Bends River where you will enjoy the picturesque scenic of the nine bends and 18 turns. Ashore, we will tour the Imitate Song Street, the Wuyi Temple, the Sanqing Hall, and the Liu Yong Memorial Museum. Next, we will visit one of the Mt Wuyi farmers and will shop for some local specialty products. Visit Mt Wuyi Square for your own leisure. Mt Wuyi flavor for dinner. In the evening, enjoy the performance of “Impression Da Hong Pao” directed by the renowned China director, Zhang Yimou(at your own expense).
