DAY 2
DELHI - JAIPUR
Embark on a city tour driving pass Old Delhi with photo stops at India Gate and Bahai Temple. Completed in 1986, the temple is set among pools and gardens and adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or mediate silently according to their own religion. Make a stop at Gandhi Smriti, a poignant memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, where he was shot dead on the grounds on January 30, 1948 after campaigning against intercommunal violence. The house itself is where he spent his last 144 days. Your final stop will be the Unesco Heritage Qutab Minar. Built in the early 13th century, the red sandstone tower of Qutab Minar is 72.5m high, tapering from 2.75m in diameter at its peak to 14.32m at its base, and alternating angular and rounded flutings. Continue to Jaipur also called Pink City.

DAY 3
JAIPUR
This morning set off for a tour of Jaipur. Drive past Hawa Mahal, Jaipur’s signature building, a multi layered palace with a profusion of windows and stone screens built in1799. The experience of visiting Amber Fort is one that cannot be easily described. Take a jeep up to the former capital of the royals, set to the backdrop of wooded hills followed by a photo stop at Jal Mahal. Jantar Mantar is a stone observatory raised in the 8th century by an astronomer king. End the day with a visit to Birla Mandir Temple located on an elevated ground at the base of Moto Dungari Hill in Rajasthan. This evening, have fun at the Rajasthani created village of Chokhi Dhani.

DAY 4
JAIPUR - AGRA
Visit 2 Unesco World Heritage Sites today - Taj Mahal and Agra Fort! At Taj Mahal, walk along the pathway beside the reflecting pool with fountains up to the mausoleum crafted in soft and pure marble and jewelled with semi-precious stones, where in the serenity of paradise rests the Queen in peace with her King. Come to unfold the pages from the past to churn the charm out of its mystique and enrich your imagination about this marvel of an epic in stone at The Taj! It is also a legend of eternal love of an Emperor for his favourite Queen which took 22 years to complete. Near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th century Mughal monument known as the Agra Fort. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses within its 2.5km long, enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal ruler with multiple palaces and architectural wonders. Not far away is the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, a Mughal mausoleum. Often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.

AGRA - DELHI
Spend the day on an enlightening journey through India’s glorious art, values and contributions for the progress, happiness and harmony of mankind at Swaminarayan Akshardham. Take a 12 minutes fascinating boat ride experiencing 10,000 years of India’s glorious heritage to learn about the discoveries and inventions of the rishi-scientists of India etc.
Note: Swaminarayan Akshardham closed on Mondays, decent dressing required / No cameras etc allowed / Boat ride subject to availability without replacement
