After lunch, continue the drive to Kyeikhtiyo. Upon arrival at Kin Pun ‘Base Camp’, ascend up the Yathae Hill by a hill truck. Be prepared to catch the grandiosity of the magnificent and famous Golden Rock, Kyeikhtiyo Pagoda, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff – an incredible feat of nature! Make sure you catch and savour the beauty of the scenery before proceeding for dinner at hotel. The evening ends with an overnight stay at a hotel in Kyeikhtiyo.

DAY 4
YANGON – THANLYIN – YANGON
After breakfast, transfer to Thanlyin which was once a trading port occupied by the Portuguese in the early 17th century. The architecture of the old buildings reflects the days of Portuguese occupation. Thanlyin had been the base for the notorious Portuguese adventurer Philip De Brito between 1500s and early 1600s. He ruled over Thanlyin for about 13 years. Actually, he was officially a trade representative for Rakhine (Arakan), but he ran his own little kingdom in Thanlyin, siding with the Mon in their struggle against the Burmese. Proceed to Kyaik Khauk Pagoda and Kyauktan Yele Pagoda. In the afternoon, drive back to Yangon and take lunch at the restaurant. Return to hotel and take a rest for a while. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.
