DAY 1
SINGAPORE - CEBU
Depart by scheduled flight for Cebu, often called as 'Queen City of the South', the 'Seat of Christianity', and the oldest city in the Philippines. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your choice of hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure for you to take short exploratory trip around your hotel.
DAY 2
CEBU - BOHOL COUNTRYSIDE DAY TOUR (JOIN SIC DAY TOUR) (B/L)
This morning, take a one and a half hour ride on a fast ferry to one of the most beautiful island provinces in the Visayas, the oval-shaped Bohol Island is a quaint getaway from the rest of the world. With its white sandy beaches, clear blue seas, lush tropical vegetation and splendid diving spots, Bohol promises to be an unforgettable holiday destination. Pickup at Tagbilaran City Pier, the tour begins with a drive to the Blood Compact Shrine, the site where Datu Sikatuna forged a truce with the Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez De Lagazpi. Then on to the Baclayon Church, one of the oldest stone churches in the Philippines which houses religious artifacts daing back to the 16th century. The Loboc River and its serene waters are best appreciated with a fascinating ride on a motorised pump boat (share boat) adorned with buntings and native crafts. View the majestic panorama view of the nipa palm plantation along the Loboc River and sometime wild ducks seen swimming and feeding on the river. While cruising, lunch will be served and you will also be serenade by local singer. Disembark, reboard your transportation, proceed to view the tinest primate that is know as the 'Tarsier', this wide-eyed primate found only in Bohol . Drive through the majestic mahogany Bilar Man-made Forest on the way to a unique geographical cluster of 1268 cone shaped ground formations that famously known as the Chocolate Hills, that changes color - sometimes brown or sometimes green depending on the season. Visit a souvenir outlet befor drive back to the pier for your return ferry back to Cebu.
DAY 3
CEBU TWIN ISLAND CITY TOUR (B/L)
After breakfast, pickup from your hotel lobby for your morning City Tour. Visit Fort San Pedro, the oldest triangular fortress in the country, built in 1565. Proceed to the Magellan's Cross a famous landmark where the first Catholic Mass was celebrated in 14 April 1521. It was erected by Ferdinand Magellan to mark the beginning of Christianity in the Philippines. Next stop is the Basilica Minore del Santo Nino, built by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi in 1565 known for its architecture and houses the oldest religious relic in the Philippines, the statue of the Child Jesus or Santo Nino. Proceed to visit the impressive Taoist Temple, located at Beverly Hills overlooking the city of Cebu. Make stops at Carbon Market, the largest farmers' market in Cebu City and have a delightfuly seafood lunch at Lighthouse Restaurant. Drive across the Macelo B Ferman Bridge to Mactan Island to visit Magellan's Shrine and the impressive Statue of Lapu Lapu, a native ruler of Mactan, who is known as the first native ruler to have resisted the Spanish colonization. He was also responsible for the death of famous Portugese explorer Ferdinand Magellan and he is regard retroactively as the first Filipino hero. and thereafter visit a guitar factory
DAY 4
CEBU - SINGAPORE
Mabuhay … Bid farewell to Cebu as you will be transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
