Yusupov palace was a home of one of the wealthiest noble families in Russia, it can boast very well preserved ornate �rooms, a real gem is a small home theatre and the basement is of special interest as well. Murder of Rasputin took place in the basement of the palace �in December 1916.
Recently opend Faberge Museum is accommodated in a palace that belonged to other� Russian aristocratic families �the Shuvalovs and the Narishkins. At the moment the palace looks beautifuly after the restoration and the jewelry collection of world the �famous Faberge, including Imperial Easter eggs is a real treat.
