Complesso nuragico di Lu Brandali: Entrance Ticket
From $2 USD – 1 day activity
Highlights:
The nuragic compound of Lu Brandali consists of a nuraghe with several towers, a village of huts, shelters under the rocks and a giants tomb. Inside the huts, the pavements are made of clay, alternated with some traits of rock banks to which each building rests. Besides the wider rooms, suited for longer stays, there are smaller ones, often designed for particular uses. The life stages that have taken place in the parts of the village explored are referable on the basis of the materials found to a period that goes from the XIV to the X Century BC.

The nuraghe of Lu Brandali is of mixed type, with characteristics of both the corridor nuraghe and the tholos nuraghe, it is built on a granite prominence that incorporates into its structure and is composed of a main tower surrounded by a rampart. The entrance opens into the north-western portion of the latter, punctuated in its length by various watch towers that exploit rock outcrops, taking advantage of them in height
