In Koh Samui, the monkey undoubtedly qualifies as man's best friend. Until the advent of tourism, coconuts represented the main industry here, so these industrious little animals were greatly prized. Monkeys are trained at the monkey school in Suratthani and can pick 700 - 1000 coconuts per day! Fresh coconut will be served. •Next destination will be the Wat Kunaram Temple. The mummified monk can be found still sitting in the same meditation position in which he died over 20 years ago. •Last destination will be the Na Muang Waterfall. Located between Hua Thanon & Nathon in the Southwest sector of the island, this waterfall is just off a concrete road, making it easily accessible to visitors.
