LANGKAWI ISLAND HOPPING TOUR (B)

Island Hopping Tours are a great way to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery of Langkawi. As your boat weaves through the watery passageways between the islands, enjoy the cool breeze and warm rays of sun. Make a stop at Pulau Dayang Bunting, to visit Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Lady), the largest fresh-water lake in Langkawi, which carries many legends. It is also believed that the magical waters of the lake will grant the wishes of hopeful barren women. The name originated from the combination of landscapes from marble and granite bedrocks which form a figure resembling a pregnant lady on her back. Next, we cruise to the beautiful Pulau Beras Basah for some beach activities - swimming, snorkeling, enjoy watersport activities or simply soak up the sun on the fine sandy beaches. Have fun!

LANGKAWI ISLAND TOUR – UNDERWATER WORLD (B)

This morning, visit Kota Mahsuri (Mahsuri Mausoleum). With its fabled historical past, it is a significant site on the island that have been preserved for posterity. The memorial is erected in honour of Mahsuri, a fair maiden who was unjustly accused of adultery. According to legend, she bled white blood at her execution as a sign of her innocence. Then, visit a Gamat factory, where you can witness the preparation of the sea-cucumber into traditional medical oils, soaps, pills and powder. Underwater World Langkawi features the island's rich treasure trove of marine life, it features more than 100 tanks of different sizes. The highlight is a giant tank that houses large marine species such as sharks, stingrays, moray eels and green turtles, with a 15- metre viewing tunnel for visitors to walk through.
Continue our tour to Eagle Square or Dataran Lang, it is Langkawi’s most prominent landmark for visitor arriving by sea. Situated near the Kuah Jetty, the main attraction of the square is the magnificent statue of the reddish brown eagle, majestically poised for flight. Make a brief stop at Kuah Town Langkawi Fair Shopping Complex for your shopping pleasure. For those who wish to remain in Kuah Town to continue their shopping, you may do so but will have to make your own way back to the hotel.
