DAY 1
SINGAPORE - BEIJING(OR HANGZHOU) - HOHHOT
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Beijing (or Hangzhou) and transit to Hohhot, we will visit the attractions in the city which include the Tomb of Wang Zhaojun, one of the four ancient beauties, built to celebrate her martyrdom. The tomb is 33 metres tall with an underground space of 13,000 square metres, hence it is acclaimed as one of China’s largest tombs.

DAY 2
HOHHOT
After breakfast, After breakfast, proceed to Kubuqi Desert where you can view a spectacular formation of soft sand hills in the horizon. There are about 500-metre-tall crescent-shaped sand dunes and about 100-metre-tall sand hills that are tilted at 40 degrees. After you have ascended the high sand dunes, you will hear thunderous sound as you slide down the moving sand. This is the famous chimes in the sand dunes phenomenon. You may also choose to enjoy a camel ride or go sand boarding at your own expense. Thereafter, travel to Baotou City for lunch and stop by to take in the majestic view of Yellow River along the way.

DAY 3
HOHHOT– XILAMUREN GRASSLAND
After breakfast, proceed to Xilamuren Grassland; view a wine toasting ceremony by Mongolian singer, Yinwanhada. Firstly,visit the scenic Mongolia grassland. For lunch, you will enjoy Mongolian mutton feast eaten with hands. Then, you can choose to go for horse-riding at your own expense to do some sight-seeing of the vast grassland. You will also get to visit a Mongolian herdsman family, sample Mongolian dairy products, pay homage to their sacred mountain,watch horse racing and wrestling, go cattle and sheep herding with the Mongolians, learn to build a Mongolian yurt, At night, enjoy bon fire party. You will also be entertained by a song and dance performance. Then, enjoy a night of dancing and singing under the star-studded sky.

DAY 4
DAY 4 XILAMUREN GRASSLAND - DATONG (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful sunrise at the grassland, Thereafter, head to Datong. We will proceed to Yungang Grottoes, one of China’s 4 grottoes and has been listed as an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Yungang Grottoes is built accordance to the mountains with a length of 1km from the east to the west. It has an existing 45 major t 45 grottoes with 51,000 Buddha statues of various sizes, is a stunning masterpiece of Buddhist art sculpture.
DAY 5
DATONG - TAIYUAN
After breakfast, we will proceed to the “Golden Dragon Gorge” at Hengshan and will tour ancient architectural wonders of the world, high-altitude attic – The Xuankong Monastery. It was built more than 1,400 years ago and it’s the only temple that consist the Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism elements. It is on the cliffs, hanging in mid-air, thrilling peculiar and unique that the renowned Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai had described the architecture as “Spectacular” on a rock under the monastery. Thereafter, visit Yingxian Pagoda(External view only) at. Thereafter, Continue head to the capital city of Shanxi Province. Taiyuan is a 2,400-year-old historical ancient town with mountainous surrounding 3 sides of its city. It is an important strategic city of the northern China and known as the North gate to the central plains. Taiyuan is also an important business and industrial town of Northern China. During the Qing dynasty, the city was flourished with the top 10 trades such as commodities, silk and banking etc. Upon arrival, check into hotel.

DAY 6
TAIYUAN
After breakfast, visit the Jin Ancestral Hall, at your own expenses. This is the first imperial ancestral hall which acclaimed as the “Little Jiangnan of Shanxi”. As Shanxi is coal mining city, we will visit the Coal Museum at your own expenses, we will take a ride on the mini train through the stimulate mine shaft to experience the whole process of coal mining.

DAY 7
TAIYUAN - BEIJING (OR XIAMEN) - SINGAPORE
After breakfast, end to the Inner Mongolia and Shanxi tour. We will assemble and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore via Beijing (or Xiamen)
