Istanbul – Izmir – Kusadasi

Upon arrival in Istanbul, continue on your domestic flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, set off
for Selcuk and explore Ephesus, one of the largest archaeological sites in existence. You
will find structures such as Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Marble Street and Agora. Next, visit Sirince, a traditional Turkish village famous for wine, olive oil and handicrafts. Thereafter, continue to Kusadasi to visit a Turkish leather showroom.

Kusadasi – Pamukkale

After breakfast, drive to Pamukkale. Upon arrival, tour the ruins of the ancient city
of Hierapolis and explore Cotton Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, made up of
fascinating white terraces and pools created by calcareous hot spring waters flowing down the mountain. After dinner, you may wish to enjoy an authentic thermal bath at your own expense.

Pamukkale – Antalya

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Antalya, the coastal city along the Mediterranean Sea. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the old city built within the ancient castle ramparts. Discover the city’s highlights such as Hadrian’s Gate, Hidirlik Tower and the charming Old Harbour. Head to Duden Waterfalls for a photo stop. Next, visit Aspendos, an ancient Greco-Roman city, and explore its well-preserved theatre of antiquity, Aspendos Theatre.

Antalya – Konya – Cappadocia

Travel to Cappadocia via Konya, the famous old capital of the Selcuk Turks. Visit the
13th-century Sultanhani caravanserai, which was a hotel for ancient traders and travellers.

Enjoy a full-day tour of Cappadocia, which boasts a unique landscape sculpted by wind, sun, rain and snow. Explore an underground city, a unique feature of Cappadocia said to have existed since the Hittite period. Explore Goreme Open Air
Museum, a compound comprising 29 rock-cut churches, including some that date back to the 6th century. Next, proceed to Uchisar, an old village comprising small dwellings carved into a massive rock. If time permits, you may visit one of the homes in the contemporary village. Make photo stops at Valley of the Birds and the foot of Uchisar Castle. Next, visit a carpet factory and showroom and see a carpet–weaving demonstration to learn more about the art of weaving Turkish carpets. Next, visit a local
jewellery shop, where you can buy handcrafted natural stone creations. Complete your evening with a belly and folk dance performance.

Cappadocia – Ankara – Safranbolu

After breakfast, depart for Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Visit Ataturk Mausoleum, the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who is regarded as the father of modern Turkey. Thereafter, transfer to Safranbolu, a town famous for its distinctive old Ottoman houses, for which the town has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After which, visit Kaymakam Evi, a local food bazaar and Safranbolu citadel.

Safranbolu – Istanbul

This morning, return to Istanbul. Upon arrival, visit Blue Mosque, also known as Mosque of Sultan Ahmet, which boasts a unique feature of 6 minarets. Next, view the remains of Hippodrome of Constantinople, which consists of 3 monumental columns and a fountain. Visit Hagia Sophia Museum, a must–see attraction because of its religious
and architectural significance. Next, shop at the 500–year–old Grand Bazaar, a maze of over 4,000 stalls and shops selling leather goods, jewellery, handicrafts, ceramics, Turkish coffee and other local products. Complete your evening with a dinner at the famous Kumkapi Fish Market.

This morning, you may take an optional tour to Dolmabahce Palace or take a Bosphorus
