RIO DE JANEIRO–IGUAZU FALLS (B/L/D)
Fly from Rio de Janeiro to Iguazu. Begin the excursion to the Brazilian Falls upon arrival, visiting a traditional foot bridge with wonderful panoramic views. The extension of the walkways is 1,200 meters from where you get a spectacular view of the 275 falls that make up the Iguazu Falls. We will not miss Parque das Aves, the second most visited attraction in the city. Home to more than 1400 birds, of about 150 species.
DAY 4
IGUAZU FALLS (B/L/D)
This morning we will visit one of the 7 wonders of the world: the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side. Entering through the visitors’ center, there are several hikes in the jungle to admire the giants of this green world, the jungle that gives us its aromas, its colors, its freshness, a unique contact with variety of plants and animals which is increasingly rare in the modern world. A ride on the narrow-gauge train is a service that connects the 3 different circuits or footbridges of the National Park; lower, upper and devil’s throat. You can also combine hikes with optional rides.

At 55 degrees latitude south, Ushuaia (pronounced oo-swy-ah) is closer to the South Pole than to Argentina's northern border with Bolivia. It is the capital and tourism base for Tierra del Fuego, the island at the southernmost tip of Argentina.Although its stark physical beauty is striking, Tierra del Fuego's historical allure is based more on its mythical past than on rugged reality. The island was inhabited for 6,000 years by Yámana, Haush, Selk'nam, and Alakaluf Indians.

The Antarctic Convergence, a natural boundary where cold polar water flows northward and warmer equatorial water moves southward, is within the Drake Passage. When these two currents meet, nutrients are pushed to the surface, often attracting a multitude of seabirds and whales. Black-browed Albatross, Sooty Shearwaters and White-chinned Petrels glide in the air currents alongside and in the wake of the ship.
