TOKYO / KAWAGOE / KUSATSU (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )
* Visit - Kawagoe Old Street
Kawagoe retains an ambience reminiscent of an old town from the Edo period. The bell tower, landmark of Kawagoe, chiming four times a day and minute’s walk away is the Candy Alley where you can find traditional Japanese sweets, while experiencing an ambience of past decades. * Visit - Kutsatsu Onsen Kusatsu onsen has ranked No.1 in Japan for 14 years in a row! Take a photo of Yubatake (hot water field) where the water is divided and cooled in wooden conduits. It is all in the open air which is the landmark of Kusatsu. Next, stroll along the onsen street with loads of great souvenirs and traditional sweets. Be prepared to be distracted, but in a good way! KUSATSU / TATEYAMA ALPINE ROUTE / KANAZAWA OR TOYAMA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )
* Experience - Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route
Journey your way to the famous Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route that pierces through the northern Alps to link Toyama and Nagano prefectures. Be enthralled with a ride on different transportations such as cable car, ropeway and tunnel trolley bus to reach the 18 meters high snow wall that will gradually melt down within weeks & admire the beauty of Japan’s tallest damn, Kurobe Dam. Overnight : Kanazawa or Toyama Note: The visit to the snow corridor is only available from Apr till June. The opening period is from 17 April as announced by the local authorities and subject to revision without prior notice. |

KANAZAWA OR TOYAMA / SHIRAKAWA-GO / MATSUMOTO (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner )
* Visit - Kenroku-en Garden Japan’s three most beautiful landscape garden. The name Kenrokuen literally means "Garden of the Six Sublimities", which according to Chinese landscape theory are the six essential attributes that make up a perfect garden.
* Visit - Higashi Chaya District Largest geisha district in Kanazawa which used to be a prestigious geisha district comparable to Gion in Kyoto. Nowadays, you can find beautiful souvenirs especially gold leaf products. Have you ever seen or eaten “Gold leaf ice cream”? Complimentary of gold leaf ice cream will be given where you will be surprised to see the large square gold leaf covers almost the whole ice cream! Yum! * Visit - Shirakawa -go UNESCO world heritage site. 110 folk houses with roofs thatched in the gassho or praying hands, style stand in this quiet mountain village community. Often called “Crow Castle” due to the elegant black walls. Matusmoto Castle is designated as ‘National Treasures of Japan” and the oldest castle donjon remaining in Japan. * Visit - Ashikaga Flower Park Selected by CNN as one of the top nine international dream destinations in 2014 due to its 143 year old wisteria tree. Witness Wisteria & Azalea from mid April – mid May, rose garden from mid may – mid June.
