Budapest’s largest Roman Catholic church is the home of a national relic, the Holy Right, the mummified hand of the first Hungarian King, St Stephen. Note : Entrance to Treasury is not included View : Vajdahunyad Castle Officially called the Historical Building Complex, the Castle was built in 1896 for the Millennium celebrations. View : Heroes’ Square, Millennium Monument Hero Square is the largest square in Budapest. The Millennium Monument in the middle of the square was erected to commemorate the 1000 year old history of the Magyars. Visit : Fisherman’s Bastion Built between 1895 and 1902, the Neo Romanesque Fisherman’s Bastion occupies a portion of the old walls of Buda Castle defended in the Middle Ages by the guild of fishermen. Its towers and terraces afford a breathtaking view over the city. You can find several historical objects like Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque or the Sahat Kula (the Clock Tower). Blagaj View : Source of the Buna River Visit : Dervish House Dervish House built in the 16th century is one of the most important cultural and historical monuments in the country. Mostar View : Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, Turkish House, Old Bridge Mostar is an important cultural and economic center of Herzegovina. The Postojna Cave is the only cave where you can take a special train and ride under magnificent underground arches.
