Located in central Eskişehir is Odunpazarı district, the area where the first city is thought to have been established. It has old wooden houses which are hundreds of years old, many of which are restored making the area a popular tourist destination. At the Kurşunlu Mosque Complex are a mosque, fountain for ritual ablutions, public soup kitchen, madrasah, rest home and two caravansaries, all of which date back to the 16th century. ESKISEHIR → BURSA → IZNIK → ISTANBUL
Visit : Green Tomb, Green Mosque
The city of Bursa is also called Green Bursa for the predominant green colour from its teeming greeneries that are mostly contributed by the numerous parks and gardens. Adding to it is the Green Mausoleum, the final resting place of Mehmet I. Besides the numerous mosques scattered all over the town, the most remarkable of all is the Ulu Cami or Green Mosque built in the late 14th century.
