DAY 1
SINGAPORE – NEGOMBO (DINNER)
Welcome on arrival by a Sunway Holiday representative. Transfer to Negombo. Check in at the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day. Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Negombo.
DAY 2
NEGOMBO – PINNAWELA – KANDY (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Kandy. En route Proceed to visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. See the elephants in nature, being fed, working & bathing in the nearby river. Visit a spice garden to see different spices and how some of these spices are grown. Lunch at restaurant. City tour of Kandy. Kandy is also the venue for annual perehera, a pageant with over 150 elephants, dance troops, etc., parading the city. Visit the temple of the tooth relic, upper lake, Kandy market area. In the evening witness a cultural dance show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dances including fire dancing. Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Kandy.
DAY 3
KANDY-PERADENIYA- NUWARA ELIYA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the royal botanical gardens in Peradeniya. Proceed to Nuwara eliya, known as “Little England” of Sri Lanka. Lunch at restaurant. En route see the mountains covered with tea bushes and cascading waterfalls. Visit a tea factory and a plantation to see the tea manufacturing process. Enjoy a freshly brewed cup of “Ceylon Tea”.
Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Nuwara eliya.
DAY 4
NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – YALA (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Leave for the Yala. En route stop at the Rawana Ella Water Fall. Lunch at restaurant. Afternoon at Yala make a safari in an open jeep in the Yala National Park.
Dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Yala.
DAY 5
YALA – BEACH (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Kataragama Hindu temple, Sri Lanka’s largest & where pilgrims from all over Sri Lanka come for to worship. Leave for South west coast. Make stops at Hambantota / Tangalle and Matara. In Koggala see the stilt fishermen seated on poles Mounted. In Galle visit the colonial Dutch Fort. Lunch at restaurant. In Hikkaduwa make a tour in a glass-bottom boat to see the impressive underwater corals. Dinner and stay overnight at beach resort.
DAY 6
BEACH - COLOMBO – SINGAPORE (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning free at leisure. Leave for Colombo. Lunch at restaurant. Make a city tour of Colombo. For example, there is a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and Buddhist temple, residential areas where you can find the stately homes of affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall shopping tour of Colombo. After Dinner at restaurant, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
