(C.K.S Memorial Hall) The most magnificent monuments in Taipei, it commemorate the passing of President Chiang Kai-shek.

(Yuanshan Scenic Area) Yuanshan is one of the five scenic spots in Sanxia. Althoughits altitude is only 321 meters, you can see as far as Tucheng, Shilin and Banqiao on the top of the mountain. In recent years, the mountain which looks like a flying kite has become a popular hiking destination for its adjacency to Sanxia Old Street. The trail leads to a giant bell in the scenic area on themountain. The largest copper bell in Taiwan was placed here to commemorate the restoration of Taiwan.

(Chiufen) To see the old fashioned way of life that still exists. With the aura of an old mining that is still apparent. Here you can also try some famous local dish as is Taro and Sweet Potato Ball etc.

(Martyrs' Shrine) Built to dedicate to the 390,000 soldiers killed in the service of their country.
