DAY 1
Singapore - Frankfurt
Upon arrival in Frankfurt, transfer to hotel. Enjoy a leisure day in Frankfurt. Overnight in Frankfurt or a nearby city.
DAY 2
Frankfurt - Prague (530km) (B)
This morning, we head east to the capital of Czech Republic, Prague, one of the liveliest cultural cities in Europe since the Velvet Revolution. Overnight in Prague or a nearby city.
DAY 3
Prague - Bratislava
Our morning sightseeing tour highlights are St. Vitus Cathedral, beautiful gardens Na Valech and Rajska Zahrada, Golden Lane*, Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, which was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest one still working. In the afternoon, spend time at Wenceslas Square where theatres, cinemas, restaurants, shops, stores and banks can be found. We also visit St. Wenceslas Statue and National Museum which are nearby. Afterwards, we drive to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. We carry on our sightseeing tour with St. Martin's Cathedral, Stará radnica (Old Town Hall) and Old Town Opera house. Overnight in Bratislava or a nearby city.
DAY 4
Bratislava - Budapest (200km) (B)
Today, we continue our journey to Budapest, which constitutes of Buda, situated in the West, and Pest which lies to the East. Here, we visit the Fisherman’s Bastion* – a terrace in neo-Gothic and neoRomanesque style, Matthias Church*, Elisabeth Bridge – the third newest bridge of Budapest that connects Buda and Pest across the River Danube and Heroes Square. DAY 5
Budapest - Vienna (250km) (B)
This morning, we drive to the capital of Austria, Vienna. We visit Schönbrunn Palace*, which was the former summer residence of the Imperial family and considered one of the most beautiful baroque palaces in Europe. Then, we head to Stadtpark (City Park) is a large municipal park where the Flower Clock and the most photographed monument in Vienna, the gold plated bronze statue of Johann Strauss, are located. We also visit Vienna State Opera and Church of St. Charles Borromeo. A stroll along Kartnerstrasse, the most famous shopping street in central Vienna with its glamorous boutiques, brings us to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Overnight in Vienna or a nearby city. (You may check with your tour guide to arrange a classical music concert* for you during the day.)
DAY 6
Vienna - Salzburg - Munich (480km) (B)
In the morning, we pass the Abbey of Melk, which is among the world's most famous monastic sites and overlooks River Danube, as we drive to Salzburg. Here, we take a sightseeing tour on foot and visit Mozart’s birthplace* as well as some “The Sound of Music” film locations. Afterwards, we leave Salzburg and head to Munich. Overnight in Munich or a nearby city.
DAY 7
Munich - Mt Titlis - Lucerne - Zurich (360km) (B)
Today, we continue our journey to Switzerland, where we will arrive at Engelberg to experience the world’s first revolving cable car* that takes (approx. 45 mins.) you to the top of Switzerland’s highest vantage point with a breathing 360 degree view. Lunch at Mt Titlis. In the afternoon, we proceed to the medieval town Lucerne, where we visit Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument and Lake Lucerne. Enjoy some free time to shop for Swiss watches and other Swiss specialities. Overnight in Zurich or a nearby city.
DAY 8
Zurich - Rhine Falls - Titisee - Frankfurt (450km) (B)
After breakfast, we head to Zurich which is the largest city and financial centre of Switzerland. Here, we enjoy a short orientation of Zurich, then drive to Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe. Afterwards, we pass through Black Forest, a wooded mountain range in Baden-Württemberg where we will enjoy magnificent views of its vast forests, open mountain heights and peaks and deep and mysterious cirque lakes and charming valleys. We continue our journey to Titisee, where the cuckoo-clock was first invented. Lunch at Titisee, and perhaps taste their most famous Black Forest cake for your dessert. In the evening, we arrive at Frankfurt. Overnight in Frankfurt or a nearby city.
DAY 9
Frankfurt - Singapore (B)
Depart from Frankfurt and board the flight back to Singapore.
