DAY 1
Saturday: Copenhagen
Upon arrival in Copenhagen, transfer to hotel. Enjoy a leisure day in Copenhagen. Overnight in Copenhagen or a nearby city.
DAY 2
Sunday: Copenhagen – Jonkoping (330km) (Breakfast)
The tour starts with a sightseeing tour of Copenhagen, the capital of the Kingdom of Denmark. We visit the famous The Little Mermaid statue, based on the famous childhood fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. Next, we head to Amalienborg, which is considered one of the greatest works of the Danish rococo architecture style. Constructed in the 1700s, the architecture consists of four identical palaces around an octagonal courtyard. Afterwards, we visit the H. C. Andersen Boulevard that leads to the Copenhagen City Hall Square, where you can find a statue of this famous Danish writer, who also authored “The Ugly Duckling“. After lunch we go to Jonkoping. Overnight stay on Jonkoping or nearby cities.
DAY 3
Monday: Jonkoping – Stockholm (320km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we continue our way to the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. Made out of 14 islands on the Baltic Sea, this city is crowned the most beautiful of all Nordic cities. After lunch, we embark on a city tour that includes the City Hall of Stockholm*, one of the most beautiful and wellknown buildings in the world that also houses the most exclusive ballroom in Stockholm, which is the venue for the yearly Nobel Banquet. Afterwards, we continue our tour with a visit to the Old Parliament House, the former seat of the Parliament of Sweden. Next, we visit Vasa, a Swedish warship, which sank and was eventually salvaged and housed in the Vasa Museum*. Following this, we head to Storkyrkan, Stockholm’s medieval cathedral, which is an important example of Swedish Brick Gothic architecture. Overnight stay in Stockholm or nearby cities.
DAY 4
Tuesday: Stockholm – Lillehammer (610km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, the coach departs to Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa, and also the fourth deepest lake in Norway. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Lillehammer. Famous for hosting the 1994 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer is a town with a population that comes just under 23,000 inhabitants. We arrive in the evening and have an overnight stay in Lillehammer or nearby cities.
DAY 5
Wednesday: Lillehammer – Briksdal Glacier – Sogndal (500km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we travel to the European continent’s largest glacier, Briksdal Glacier, with its lowest point being 400 meters below sea level and the highest point 2,000 meters above sea level. Surrounding the glacier is the Jostedalsbreen National Park, where we will embark on cable cars* to admire the wildlife, raging rivers and waterfalls. The Ride will last for half an hour, after which our group will enjoy 10 minutes leisure time to take pictures and see the Briksdal glacier. In the afternoon, we head south towards Gudvangen. Overnight stay in Sogndal or nearby cities.
DAY 6
Thursday: Sogndal – Sognefjord Cruise - Flam (150km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, the coach goes on to Gudvangen Pier where our group joins the Sognefjord Cruise* to explore Sognefjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord, an unparalleled spectacle by Mother Nature. The two-hour boat cruise will arrive in Flam. After Lunch, we will be travelling on one of the most beautiful railway, Flamsbana. This exciting railway attracts visitors from all over the world, scenery includes beautiful fjords, waterfalls and valleys. After the ride, we will drive to Voss and visit the 152 metre high Svrstamu Tvindefossen waterfall, then return to hotel for dinner. Overnight stay in Flam or nearby cities.
DAY 7
Friday: Flam - Oslo (300km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, we depart to the Norwegian capital of Oslo. Every year on the 10th of December, this city hosts the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony on the anniversary passing of Founder-Inventor Alfred Nobel. Unlike the other four prizes awarded in Stockholm, Sweden, the Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony is held in Oslo. We continue with a visit to the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park, located inside the Frogner park grounds. On display are over 212 bronzes and granite statues, the theme of the park is on the Human Condition, illustrating relationships between men and women, adults and children. Overnight stay in Oslo or nearby cities.
DAY 8
Saturday: Oslo – Gothenburg – Copenhagen (580km) (Breakfast)
After breakfast, the coach goes southbound for the Port of Gothenburg, a major port of Western Europe. On Götaplatsen, a public square is Swedish sculptor Carl Milles’ seven-metre-high statue of the sea god Poseidon. Also, a must-visit destination is the fish market hall, FeskekoÌ‚rka, an indoor fish and shellfish market where you can buy all kinds of seafood delicacies caught on the day. We conclude our city tour at the Gothenburg Cathedral, the seat of the bishop of Gothenburg in the Church of Sweden. The tour continues southbound to finally arrive in the evening in Copenhagen. Overnight stay in Copenhagen or nearby cities.
DAY 9
Sunday: Copenhagen – Singapore (Breakfast)
Depart from Copenhagen and board the flight back to Singapore.
