Auckland – Bay of Islands

In the morning, travel North as you cross the Auckland Harbour Bridge via the Hibiscus Coast. Finally, you will arrive at the beautiful Bay of Islands. You will have time this afternoon to participate in an optional cruise on the dazzling waters of the Bay with 144 islands (At your own expenses).

Freely explore the stunning Bay of Islands at your leisure! You may take upon an optional day trip with Great Sights to the Very top of New Zealand, Cape Reinga. You will enjoy a full commentary on your coach which will take you to an ancient Kauri forest, sand boarding on massive sand dunes with a drive along 90 Mile Beach. As this is optional, we recommend pre-booking this trip before you arrive in New Zealand.

Bay of Islands – Auckland

More time for you to explore the Bay of Islands this morning before returning to Auckland, the City of Sails. This evening in Auckland, you may explore the lively waterfront area of the Viaduct Harbour. Here, a wide range of restaurants and sights are available for you!

Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua

Depart Auckland today as you travel south through Waikato farmland to the famous Waitomo
Glowworm Caves on seat-in-coaach. The striking limestone formations are easily accessed and viewed in the included tour of the caves which finishes with a gentle boat trip through the Glowworm Grotto. Later, visit the Hobbiton as you enjoy a movie set tour from the Shires Rest. Leaving Waitomo your travels will take you to Rotorua, the geothermal and cultural capital of New Zealand where you will stay for two nights. For self-drive travellers, you will depart for Rotorua via Waitomo Glowworm Caves.

Rotorua

Today, you are free to leisure on your own. Here, you may first visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you will see boiling mud pools and steaming geysers. Later, you may head on to the Rainbow Springs for a chance to learn about New Zealand’s native bird – the Kiwi. Later, you may also head to Agrodome to learn about the farming heritage in New Zealand with an entertaining farm show. Make your time worthwhile here as you enjoy the different activities lay out for you.
Optional Activities – Skyline Rotorua Gondola, Polynesian Spa, Ogo

Rotorua – Auckland

There is a designated time for you to enjoy further activities in Rotorua at your own pace before returning to Auckland. Perhaps a visit to the Skyline Gondola, a luge ride or take a relaxing walk through the grand Redwood Forest before leaving for Auckland by and intercity Coach.
For self-drivers, make a stop at Matamata to visit Hobbiton Movie Set before travelling back to Auckland for your last night stay.
Optional Activities – Half day City Sights tour

Depart Auckland

Bid farewell to New Zealand before your transfer to the airport. For self-drivers, return your car to the airport before departure back home. You may also opt for longer stay in New Zealand as where you can extend (at an additional cost) to one more night stay with us.
