Welcome to Taiwan! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in and the rest of the day will be free and easy

Taipei – Jiufen – Miaoli – Nantou (Breakfast/Dinner)

After breakfast, head to Jiufen. Once a gold-mining centre, it is now the inspiration for the famous animated movie “Spirited Away”. Next, continue to Miaoli Hakka Museum to learn about the Hakka culture through interactive exhibitions. We will then head to Nantou, Taiwan’s 2nd largest city. Here, visit the 921 Earthquake Museum- dedicated to the 7.3 earthquake that hit the center of Taiwan on 21 Sept 1999.

Nantou - Tainan (Breakfast/Lunch)

Get your cameras ready as you head to Xitou Monster Village. With many monster statues, restaurants and souvenirs, there are loads for you to explore in this Japanese village! Thereafter, head to Alishan National Forest Recreation Area – situated 2,200m above sea level and Sisters Lakes. Near the foot of Alishan Forest Park, you will find the Eternity Suspension Bridges, a symbol of “eternal love” built in 1937. Next, head off for Tainan City! Our first stop here will be Anping Old Street- filled with lots of fresh food and drinks prepared before your eyes! End your day off with some local bites at a night market.

Tainan – Taichung (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, proceed for some light shopping at the Aboriginal product shop. Then, make your way to Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, where you will take a boat ride admiring the beautiful backdrop of the clear blue water against the mountain. Next, visit Wenwu Temple- the center of faith among locals. Before we head to Taichung, stop at the Taiwanese Tea Center. Our last stop of the day will be the night market for some local snacks and light shopping.

Taichung - Taipei (Breakfast/Lunch)

This morning, you will return to Taipei. Along the way, stop at Sanyi Cheting Woodcarving Rest Area before we visit Vigor Kobo in Taipei– famous for their pineapple cakes! Then, we will proceed to Martyrs Shrine and the Handicraft Center, where you will find a vast variety of fine handircrafts. Continuing on, visit the historical landmark, CKS Memorial Hall- erected in memory of General Chiang Kai-shek. To end the trip, visit Taipei’s cultural centre,Ximending, also known as Taipei’s “Harajuku”!

Taipei – Singapore (Breakfast)
