Arrival at Ho Chi Minh City (Dinner)

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, a transfer will be provided to bring you to the hotel. Thereafter, you will have the signature Vietnamese Pho Noodle (choice of chicken or beef) for dinner, as well as a warm cup of Vietnamese coffee or delectable Bach Dang ice cream for dessert.

Ho Chi Minh City – Can Gio Mangrove Forest (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After a hearty breakfast, you will head for Can Gio, a district listed in the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO. The prominent wetland, which boasts more than 200 species of fauna and 52 species of flora, is an ideal destination to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. First, make a stop at the Can Gio Museum which showcases both the biodiversity of the mangrove forest and introduces heroes who fought for independence. Next, you will visit the Mangrove Forest Park Fauna Conservation which houses wildlife such as the saltwater crocodiles, wild cats, otters, pythons, deer and more than 1000 wild monkeys (performances by monkeys are available only on weekends.) Thereafter, board a motorized boat to the Mangrove Sac Forest, a formal revolutionary base of the guerrillas in the historic Vietnam War. After having lunch at a resort, take a boat or canoe to Vam Sat Salt-Marsh Forest Ecological Tourist Zone for an unforgettable experience on board a fishing crocodiles cruise, while sailing pass the extraordinary forests that Can Gio has to offer. In the evening, visit Tang Bong tower for an aerial view of Can Gio and end the eventful day off with a warm ‘sizzling’ Banh Xeo.

Ho Chi Minh City – Farm Tour (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, we will set off to a farm near the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels. To kick start your tour, you will visit the Agricultural Villages which include the farm animals, rice fields, ponds and vegetables areas. Next, you will enjoy an experiential learning session and undertake some farming, cow milking and cooking challenges to experience what it feels like to be a Vietnamese farmer. Upon completion, you will also be congratulated with a crisp certificate, delicious recipes and unique souvenirs! For the last night, head back to Saigon for a local BBQ street style dinner in a lively open atmosphere.
