Arrival at Jogjakarta – Magelang (Dinner)

Upon arrival at Jogja airport, you will be greeted by our friendly guide. Transfer to Magelang for your overnight stay. After checking in to your hotel, you will have the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Borobudur Sunrise – Yogyakarta (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

At 4.30am, you will meet your local guide who will take you to the Borobudur Temple to catch a glimpse of the spectacular morning sunrise – when Borobudur is at its best! Then, return back to the hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Check out of your Magelang hotel and continue your journey to Jogja while stopping at your first stop– Pawon Temple, a midpoint linking Mendut temple and Borobudur temple.
Next, head to Mendut Temple, a Buddhist temple built by King Indra of the Syailendra Dynasty. This will be followed by a trip to Malioboro Street, a street packed with shops selling souvenirs at affordable prices. Advance to Kota Gede. Later in the evening, check in to your hotel at Yogyakarta area.

Merapi Lava Jeep Tour – Jogja City Tour (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

This morning, travel northward to explore Merapi Lava and its surrounding villages. Head to Kaliadem Bunker, a site characterized by natural beauty, coolness and the Merapi mountainous view. Detour back to Kaliadem and test your courage on the off-road jeep ride through the area of cold lava produced by Mount Merapi during its 2010 eruptions. Embark on a Yogyakarta City tour with the Keraton (Sultan Palace) as your first stop. This iconic structure does more than housing the Sultan and his family – It is also the main direction of cultural development of Java, as well as the flame guard of the culture. Visit Taman Sari and Vredeburg Fort. Subsequently, head to Batik Industry and observe the locals producing the traditional handmade goods.

Today, you will have some leisure time before your transfer back to the airport for your flight back to Singapore.
