Singapore - Auckland

Upon arrival in Auckland, you will be met and transferred to your hotel accommodation.

Auckland – Waitomo – Hobbiton – Rotorua (Breakfast)

Travel south to visit the enchanting village of Hobbiton, the ‘real Middle earth’ before continuing across the North Island to the famous Waitomo Glow Worm Caves where a guided tour finishing with a boat ride in the glow worm grotto is included. The last leg of today’s journey takes you to rotorua for a 2 night stay.

Rotorua (Breakfast)

Begin with a visit to Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you will see boiling mud pools and steaming geysers, before heading to Rainbow Springs for a chance to learn about New Zealand’s native bush and maybe see our native bird – the Kiwi. A visit to Rotorua is not complete without experiencing the Agrodome to learn about our farming heritage with an entertaining farm show and finally we include a Gondola pass to Skyline rotorua to enjoy the wide vistas and maybe ride the Luge (optional) The afternoon is free to enjoy Rotorua at leisure. Perhaps pre book a scenic flight with Volcanic Air Safaris to enjoy the great views of rotorua and the surrounding geothermal wonders from the air. This evening enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and Cultural Performance at the Tamaki Maori Village.

Rotorua – Wellington (Breakfast)

Today travel south from Rotorua to Wellington across the Volcanic Plateau in the centre of the North Island passing by majestic Mt Ruapehu and the Tongariro National Park.

Wellington – Christchurch (Breakfast)

Included today is travel on the Interislander Ferry from Wellington to Picton. Seat in Coach Passengers will be transferred to the ferry. Once in the South Island the journey will take you south along the coast to Christchurch for one nights stay.

Christchurch – Southern Alps – The Glaciers (Breakfast)

Today seat in coach passengers will enjoy the Tranz Alpine scenic train journey. Travel from Christchurch across the vast Canterbury Plains before climbing the Southern Alps. Then descend through the lush beech rain forest to the West Coast town of Greymouth. From Greymouth journey south along the rugged West Coast to the Glacier region and overnight in either Franz Josef or Fox Glacier.

The Glaciers – Queenstown (Breakfast)

Today is one of New Zealand’s most spectacular touring days. The scenery changes from wild West Coast beaches and abundant rainforest to vast mountain vistas before arriving in the Southern Lakes District. Arrive in Queenstown for a 2 night stay.

Queenstown at leisure (Breakfast)

A full day to explore the many sights and activities in the Queenstown region. Perhaps a jet boat ride with Shotover Jet or dinner across the lake at historic Walter Peak Sheep Station travelling on TSS earnslaw We have included a ride on the Gondola to the Skyline Complex which will give you wide reaching views across the Wakatipu Basin and beyond.

Queenstown – Milford Sound – Te Anau (Breakfast)

A day trip to Milford Sound is a touring highlight while in New Zealand. Milford Sound is regarded as one of our most scenic locations with dramatic high mountain sides plunging into the depths of the fjord. It is even more spectacular when it is raining, as hundreds of waterfalls descend over the craggy rocks. Following the included cruise you will travel back along the Milford Highway stopping at the small lake side town of Te Anau for the evening.

Te Anau – Dunedin (Breakfast)

A half day journey will take you to Dunedin, an historic city with beautiful old buildings including the Dunedin Railway Station building. You will arrive in time to partake in an optional Speight’s Brewery Tour or an excursion to visit the wildlife on the Otago Peninsula. We suggest you visit ‘Natures Wonders’ were you will experience a genuine New Zealand Sheep farm which includes penguin sightings and seals. To get to Natures Wonders we recommend you pre book a tour with Awesome Wildlife eco-tours (optional).

Dunedin – Christchurch (Breakfast)

In the morning, we will return to Christchurch, travelling along the eastern coast of the South Island passing through the towns of Oamaru and Timaru.

Christchurch – Singapore (Breakfast)

Bid goodbye to Christchurch as we return to Singapore today! You will be transferred from their hotel to the Christchurch airport.
