Arrive in Jeju City – Seogwipo City

Upon arrival at Jeju International Airport, transfer to the vehicle rental office to pick up your vehicle. Transfer to the hotel by self-drive car. Enroute, you may wish to explore Samseonghyeol – known as the legendary birthplace of three demigods, it is bathed in pale pink every spring. Next, head to the nearby Hallim Park, where you can wander through paths drawn through fields of canola flowers beneath heavenly white cherry blossom trees, which will definitely be a feast for the senses of all ages. As you end the day, visit Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market, where you can shop for local souvenirs to bring home and try the unique street food of Jeju Island. Free at leisure after check-in.

After breakfast, head to Sanbangsan Mountain. Rising 1,500metres above sea level, it features a cave offering a spectacular view out over the ocean and a rich variety of curious formations. There are several fields around consisting of bright yellow canola flowers that bloom whilst being shielded by Jeju Island’s stone walls, with the mountain providing an almost mythical backdrop. Move on to Yongmeori Coast, which is a rocky coastline featuring scenic ocean views and unique cliff formations before proceeding to Camellia Hill, which is known to produce the world’s earliest and largest blooms. It also boasts blooming azaleas and cherry trees among many other flowering plants. This morning, head to Seongeup Folk Village, which preserves the living site of the people of old Jeju Island. Furthermore, some of the traditional houses consist of a small field of canola flowers. Make a stop at Seopjikoji, where the place is dressed in its spring dress of yellow canola flowers, before moving on to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it looks like a gigantic crown from afar due to the 99 sharp rocks surrounding its crater and is truly a sight to behold when surrounded by yellow canola flowers during spring. Thereafter, visit the streets of Jeonnong-ro Road, which are lined with king cherry trees that are known to produce the largest and most luxurious petals among all cherry blossoms. Its true beauty appears at night when the cherry blossom mingle together with the street lights mingle together to produce a mesmerising scenery. Moreover, you can find numerous cafes and restaurants for the day’s dinner.
