DAY 1
SINGAPORE - KUNMING (HALAL LUNCH/ HALAL DINNER)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Yunnan province’s Spring City, Kunming, home to more than one third of China’s ethnic minorities. Upon arrival in Kunming, proceed for lunch and embark on a city tour. Visit the Yongning Mosque, built in the Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt again in the Qing Dynasty. Overnight in Kunming city.
DAY 2
KUNMING - JIANSHUI (BREAKFAST IN HOTEL/ HALAL LUNCH/ HALAL DINNER)
After breakfast, travel southwards to visit Jianshui which was historic centre of the province and remains an important transportation crossroad also known as Ling'an. Along the way, stop by Tung Hai to visit a local Muslim Village mosque. Take a walk in Jianshui Old Town, a 1200-year old town with a vast collection of historical heritages, a living museum of old buildings, arched bridges and residence boasting more than 100 architectures built in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take a stroll in the famous and gorgeous Family Zhu’s Garden known as one of the most beautiful ancient private mansions in China and a typical garden with a local touch. Continue to visit the Chaoyang Tower, nicknamed as “Lesser Tiananmen” built in the Ming Dynasty and towering Southern Yunnan for centuries. After lunch, explore the ancient wells which are the special highlights in Jianshui Old Town. The wells were dug in early Yuan Dynasty and the residents still go to the wells to take water for making tea, making tofu and drinking, etc. The water is also used as an essential ingredient in the production of local famous stinky tofu. Till today, you can still see the tofu makers making fresh tofu near the well. Later in the afternoon, visit the Jianshui Great Mosque. A newly built mosque made from wood and in typical Chinese architectural design. Overnight in Jianshui.
DAY 3
JIANSHUI - SHADIAN (BREAKFAST IN HOTEL/ HALAL LUNCH/ HALAL DINNER)
After breakfast, hop on Jianshui Small Train for a short ride to Tuanshan Village which is the only intact famous cultural village of the Qing Dynasty existed currently with the Yi ethnic minority with most of the villagers bearing the common family name of Zhang. Along the ride, stop by to visit the Double Dragon Bridge where two rivers, the Lujiang and the Tachong meet after meandering like two dragons. The bridge was built with local stone in the eighteenth century

its 17 arches once supported a bustling ||||||causeway across the Lu River. It is nearly 150 meters long and the largest bridge of its kind in the province. And another brief stop at the disused Xianghui Bridge train station. Continue travel to Shadian - China’s ‘little Mecca of the East’ populated with mainly the Muslim Hui minority. Visit the Grand Mosque of Shadian, one of the biggest mosques in China and a replica of the Nabawi Mosque in Saudi Arabia, built and funded by local Chinese Muslims. Be awed with the magnificent structure decorated with stone carved Quran in Arabic and Chinese characters and able to hold a capacity of 10,000 people to do prayers at a time. Visit Hong Hui Cultural and Art Museum, to see the various collections of Chinese Islamic pottery, silver and pewter art pieces. Next, visit Yufeng Shuyuan an old Muslim school converted as a Museum to house Islamic books and Muslim literatures. Overnight in Shadian.
DAY 4
SHADIAN - STONE FOREST (BREAKFAST/ HALAL LUNCH/ HALAL DINNER)
After breakfast, visit a local fruit farm and enjoy fruit picking and tasting. (Note: Availability of fruits may vary according to season and fruit picking is subject to weather conditions. Takeaway of fruit from the local fruit farm is at your own expense.) Next, visit the Stone Forest Scenic Area, one of the most scenic spots in China since the Ming Dynasty. An extremely rare geological phenomenon dating back to 270 million years ago, the Stone Forest is 80 hectares of Karst limestone pillars in fantastic shapes that resemble a forest from a distance. It is also home to the Sani tribe, a branch of the diverse and scattered Yi minority renowned for their diligence, embroidery and dancing. Walk around the Greater and Lesser Stone Forests with Naigu Stone Forest, Zhiyun Cave, Long Lake, Moon Lake, Qifeng Cave, and the Dadie Waterfalls.
DAY 5
STONE FOREST - KUNMING (BREAKFAST IN HOTEL/ HALAL LUNCH/ HALAL DINNER)
After breakfast, visit Dounan Flower Market a famous wholesale flower market and also one of Asia's biggest flowers trading market with numerous varieties of flowers. In the afternoon, visit the renowned Pu’er Tea House to learn more about this interesting tea in which leaves are harvested up on the tree, learn about the Chinese tea culture and learn to brew for yourself. Following, visit Shuncheng Street Mosque. It is the head quarter of Islamic Association of Yunnan built in the Ming Dynasty and in Chinese architectural style surrounded by the local Muslim community. Visit The Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway built in the Ming Dynasty dating back more than 400 years ago and it is situated right on the central axis of old Kunming city, located in the centre of downtown Kunming. In the evening, you may wish to join an optional tour to watch the Dynamic Yunnan Show which is a grand and unique dance musical that richly depicts the strong flavour of the life of ethnic minorities of Yunnan, with original rural songs and classical folk dances, combining beauty of Yunnan ethnic minorities dance and songs with the power of modern stage exhibition.
DAY 6
KUNMING - SINGAPORE (BREAKFAST IN HOTEL/ HALAL LUNCH)
This morning, check out hotel and take a leisurely stroll in the Green Lake Park which is popular with locals as an escape from the bustling city, with verdant islets, emerald lakes and exquisite pavilions and is an oasis in central Kunming. After lunch, stop-by the Silk House and Jade stone Showroom before transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
