DAY 2
HAILAR – (APPROX 1.5HRS) HULUNBUIR GRASSLAND
Stay at Mongolian yurt (with individual bathroom)
After breakfast, coach to Bayan Hushuo Grassland, the epicentre of the vast Hulunbuir Grassland. The natural grassland scenery is spectacular as you behold the meandering Yimin River, lush green pastures and clear water where the inhabitants are Mongolian Buryat herdsmen. During the journey, experience a sense of freedom and view the minority ethnic tribe’s way of life as you catch vignettes of herdsmen, Mongolian yurts, herds of animals and vast green pastures. Upon arrival at the grassland, you will be greeted by the special Mongolian welcome ceremony where you will drink local wine and be offered traditional ceremonial scarfs called khata. Then you will be led into a large Mongolian yurt to savour the popular Mongolian milk tea, and having a Mongolian dinner. You may also choose to participate in some interactive Mongolian activities like horse riding at your own expense. Tonight, experience a nomadic lifestyle with a specially arranged overnight stay in a Mongolian yurt.

This morning, you may choose to rise early to view the sunrise over the grassland (subject to weather conditions). With the wide temperature difference in the day and night, it will be a breath-taking whilst memorable moment for you as you wait in the cold to behold the sight of the red rising sun over the horizon of the grassland and blue sky. Thereafter, under the guidance of the local minority ethnic tribe, participate in the building of Mongolian yurts. After lunch, coach to Manzhouli, which lies at the border of three countries – China, Russia and Mongolia. After dinner, join a night tour at your own expense to explore Manzhouli to view the external of buildings with distinct architecture like the wooden houses, which resemble Siberian agricultural village houses and stone houses.

DAY 4
MANZHOULI – (APPROX 4HRS) ERGUN
Stay at Ergun Hong Fan Hotel or equivalent
After breakfast, visit the Mammoth Square to view mammoth, which can stand the cold harsh weather and was once the world’s largest elephant. It is about two times the size of a normal elephant and weighs up to 8 tonnes. As the species was extinct since about 10,000 years ago, you can view animal sculptures like the mammoth, rhinoceros, sabre-toothed tigers amongst them displayed in the square. coach to Ergun. During the journey, view herdsman and their herds of over hundred sheep which like fallen drops of pearls dotted the vast grassland under the clear blue sky.

DAY 5
ERGUN – (APPROX 1.5HRS) ENHE - (APPROX 1.5 HRS) SHIWEI
Stay at traditional Russian style wooden house ( Mukeleng House)
After breakfast, proceed to Genhe Wetland with an electric car ride to explore this natural conservation zone in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which lies at the intersection point where Genhe River, Ergun River, Derbugan River and Hawuer River converge. Genhe Wetland is the best conserved and largest wetland in China, hence, it is acclaimed as “Asia’s Top Wetland”. Continue to Enhe, Located by the Erguna River, which acts as the border between China and Russia, Visit the Russian township features Russian descendants, Russian-style wooden houses and filled windows, and a golden-silver birch forest. Thereafter coach to Shiwei, the town and its surrounding villages feature the Russian style in terms of architectures and living habits. Tonight stay in a Mukeleng house, a kind of Russian traditional house built with logs on stone foundation.

DAY 6
SHIWEI – (APPROX 1.5HRS) MOERDAOGA NATIONAL PARK – (APPROX 1.5 HRS) SHIWEI

After breakfast, explore Shiwei Square and then head to Moerdaoga National Forest Park. The Moerdaoga National Forest Park ia the first national forest park in the Greater Khingan Range within Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the biggest national forest park of its kind in China. "Moerdaoga" literally means that "set out for flight riding your horses" that was legendarily said by Genghis Khan who tried to integrate the tribes. Continue coach to Genhe.

DAY 7
GENHE – (APPROX 5HRS) HAILAR
Stay at Hailar Dynasty Hotel or equivalent
After breakfast, visit Aoluguya, the last surviving Ewenki ethnic tribe that still practices reindeer husbandry. Reindeer are native animals of the Artic and have yet to be fully domesticated. Their shape is unusual, with a horse-like head, deer horns, donkey-like body and cow-like hooves. Learn more about the culture of these deer people at the Aoluguya Ewenki Reindeer Museum, or bring home some souvenirs at the birch bark handicraft gift shop. Later, get up close and personal with the reindeers at the Reindeer enclosure before continuing home visit of the Ewenki hunters. Thereafter, return to Hailar.

DAY 8
HAILAR - BEIJING - SINGAPORE
After breakfast, coach to Hailar. Upon arrival, visit Ewenki Museum with a dedicated museum guide. It is the only museum in China that showcases the political, cultural, lifestyle and development history of the Ewenki ethnic tribe. The museum exhibits the development history, colourful folk and cultural history, nation building achievements and the bright future since the reign of Ewenki ethnic tribe. Next, continue to visit Chinggis Khaan Square named after Genghis Khan. It is the largest square in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Thereafter explore Long Feng Xintiandi at Hailar commercial district if time permitted. Thereafter,. End your unforgettable Inner Mongolia journey by proceeding to the airport for your flight back to Singapore via a flight transfer at Beijing.
