DAY 1
SINGAPORE – TAOYUAN – HSINCHU
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Taipei. Upon arrival, head to Hsinchu, where you will be greeted with a delectable array of quintessential Taiwanese snacks at Cheng Huang Miao Night Market. Spend the night at the largest child-friendly deluxe hotel in Hsinchu. Retreat from the frenzied pace of city life and enjoy the hotel’s 5,500-square-metre health club equipped with various therapeutic spa pools, children’s playground, swimming pools and more.

DAY 2
HSINCHU – NANTOU
This morning, travel to Nantou and proceed to Checheng Old Street, where you will find Checheng Station and Checheng Wood Museum. Enjoy a traditional wooden bucket lunch box and reminisce the past and simple joys of childhood. Next, continue to Xitou Forest Nature Education Area to see the iconic and picturesque University Pond.
The majestic mountains, tranquil bamboo forests and chirping birds are a perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thereafter, head to Monster Village and get acquainted with local forest spirits and Japanese monsters. This quirky village boasts cute monster statues, monster-themed houses and performances adapted from Japanese folklore, and even a famous bakery as a tribute to how the village came about. Spend the night at a Kuma themed unique resort.

DAY 3
NANTOU – KAOHSIUNG
After breakfast, head to Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s 2nd-largest city. Upon arrival, make your way to Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum, the largest Buddhist complex in Taiwan. Next, proceed to Kaohsiung’s latest attraction, Taroko Park, the 1st integrated shopping, entertainment and sports-themed amusement park in Taiwan. Then, head to Suzuka Circuit Park, the only authorised Suzuka Circuit Park race track outside Japan. Enjoy a Ferris wheel ride and enjoy the other amusement rides including a mini Suzuka circuit, drift racer and freestyle drive at your own expense. In the evening, explore Ruifeng Night Market to savour Taiwanese snacks and shop for local souvenirs, fashion and crafts.

Note: Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum is closed on Tuesdays and will be replaced with a visit to Fo Guang Shan. Amusement ride tickets at Suzuka Circuit Park range from NTD60 to NTD150. For mini Suzuka circuit racing activities, tickets cost about NTD800 per person. Prices are subject to change. Ruifeng Night Market is subject to closure and will be replaced with a visit to Liuhe Tourist Night Market if unavailable.

DAY 4
KAOHSIUNG
Today, enjoy your free day in Kaohsiung. After breakfast, use your complimentary I-Pass to explore various attractions in Kaohsiung such as Pier-2 Art District, Shihzuwan and Hongmaogang Cultural Park. Alternatively, you can indulge in some retail therapy at Xin Jue Jiang Commercial District and San Duo Commercial District. For those who prefer a guided tour, you may choose to join a local tour at your own expense.

KAOHSIUNG - NANTOU - TAICHUNG
This morning, visit a pearl culture centre before making your way back to Nantou. Upon arrival, visit a lingzhi speciality centre before heading to Cingjing Farm. Then, proceed to Green Green Grasslands, also known as Paradise in the Mist. Bask in the bliss of undulating greens, dotted with grazing sheep. Continue to Taichung to explore the popular Fengjia Night Market, a sprawling mosaic of food stalls offering one of Taiwan’s largest array of local eats from traditional snacks to innovative munchies.

DAY 6
TAICHUNG - TAIPEI
After breakfast, return to Taipei to visit a pixiu lucky charm centre followed by Yehliu Geopark, a geological wonderland with dozens of fascinating rock formations. Exercise your imagination and try to visualise formations with whimsical names such as Queen’s Head and Fairy’s Shoe. Then, head to the northernmost tip of Taiwan, Fugui Cape Lighthouse. Spot the lighthouse, which is painted in black and white and can be easily identified by fishermen at sea. Next, visit a tea cultural centre to learn more about a very important part of Taiwanese culture, tea drinking. Shopaholics will rejoice at the next destination, Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area. This is where you can easily overhaul your entire wardrobe after navigating the intricate network of lanes and alleys showcasing the latest fashion.

TAIPEI
Today, you can set your own morning call to wake you up at your preferred time. Alternatively, you can visit Ximending, East District, Taipei 01 and Shida Commercial Area to enjoy shopping fun.
