Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Taiwan. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, make your way to Taichung and start your journey with a big bang at Taichung’s largest and most popular night market, Fengjia Night Market. Savour an array of mouth-watering Taiwanese delicacies as you browse the shops selling the latest fashion, shoes, bags and accessories catering to students from the neighbouring Fengjia University.

After breakfast, enjoy a slice of paradise at Green Green Grasslands at Cingjing Leisure Farm. With the sheep grazing on the lush rolling hills, wispy clouds and clear blue skies, it is easy to see why this place is also known as “Paradise in the Mist”. Proceed to the quirky and fun Carton King Creative Park next, where you will be amazed at the creative use of cardboard, from everyday products to furniture even! Then, make your way to Tainan and visit Tainan Night Market in the evening for a heavenly spread of delicious local snacks ranging from charcoal grilled chicken fillet, braised items to pickled guava.

Tainan – Pingtung

En route to Pingtung, stop at Taiwan’s aquatic recreational and ecological destination du jour, Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. This ex-military stronghold has since been re-developed into a seaside resort with a barrage of scenic spots, aquatic and other recreational activities on offer. Experience an exhilarating go-kart ride (approximately 8minutes) at the biggest go-karting track in Taiwan found here. Next, head to Kenting Street in the seaside town of Hengchun to soak up the laidback atmosphere as you browse the myriad of stores selling local snacks, souvenirs and beach accessories. Then, make your way to the Kenting National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium to learn about Taiwan’s marine creatures and unique underwater ecosystems. In particular, don’t miss the world’s largest viewing window at the 10-metre-high Giant Kelp Tank and the Beluga Pool where you can see the highly intelligent beluga whales or white whales. Tonight, enjoy a unique sleepover experience at the museum where you will be able to participate in exclusive behind-the-scenes activities, access restricted areas, and get up close and personal to these wondrous marine animals during the night.

Everyone will be provided with a set of bedding and assigned to different areas within the Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium for the sleepover experience. Please bring along an overnight bag and toiletries for the stay. This activity is not recommended for silver travellers as participants will be sleeping on the floor.

Pingtung – Kaohsiung

This morning, you will have one last chance to explore the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium before it opens to the public. Then, depart Kenting and head to Kaohsiung’s latest attractions, Taroko Park, the first integrated shopping, entertainment and sports-themed amusement park in Taiwan and Suzuka Circuit Park, the only circuit theme park in Taiwan licensed by Japan’s Suzuka Circuit. Enjoy one complimentary ride on the Ferris Wheel at Suzuka Circuit Park and you can also choose from the other amusement rides available, including a mini Suzuka Circuit, drift racer and carousel at your own expense. The mall also offers sporting activities like mini golf and baseball as well as a gamut of shopping and dining options.

Rides cost about NTD 60 – NTD 150 at Suzuka Circuit Park. For the mini Suzuka Circuit, tickets cost around NTD800 per person. Prices are subject to change.

Kaohsiung - Yunlin - Nantou

After breakfast, proceed to explore Chan Chau Ku Happy Moo Ranch, a new attraction which is a best place for family to visit. You may feed the dairy cow at your own expense inside the ranch. Also, try out the local snacks to enjoy a short break with your tour members. Next, pay a visit to Lingzhi Specialty Store. Thereafter, head to Monster Village and get acquainted with local forest spirits and Japanese monsters. This quirky village boasts cute monster statues, monster-themed houses, and performances adapted from Japanese folklore, and even a famous bakery as a tribute to how the village came about.Tonight, spend a night at Monster Village contemplate the quiet beauty of nature and retreat from the frenzied hustle and bustle of city life.

Nantou – Taipei

After breakfast, departs to Taipei and continue to Addiction Aquatic Development where you can feast on fresh seafood and Japanese cuisine such as sushi, sashimi and etc. There is a standing seafood and sushi bar, a seating area where one can order grilled food, and an open air section which becomes a beer garden at night. Choose your own preferred food at your own expense at this seafood paradise. Next, visit Pixiu Lucky Charm Centre. After visit Pineapple Cookies Specialty Store, immerse yourself in the vibrant ambience at Ximending , Taipei’s famed shopping area and the epicentre of the city’s youth culture to shop and people-watch.

Today, explore Taipei at your own pace.
