This morning commences at Jeju Railbike, where you manoeuvre a curious contraption that combines standard train rails with a pedal powered car-bike while exploring Jeju Island’s picturesque countryside of rugged hills and volcanic craters. After which, proceed to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Formed more than 100,000 years ago, this peak features a crater surrounded by sharp, jagged rocks — the crowning glory, if you will. Make a stop at Jeju Folk Village Museum and learn more about folk practices, traditions and customs through the museum’s enviable collection of artefacts. Later, visit the magnificent Jusangjeolli Cliff, which was formed when the lava from Hallasan erupted into the sea of Jungmun. Next stop, visit Sumokwon Theme Park, an indoor theme park that houses the popular Ice Museum. View mesmerising ice sculptures that have been artfully crafted by Japanese artisans and visit the illusion art gallery. This evening, visit Topdong underground street to browse and shop for unique mementos to take home.

Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight back to Seoul, capital of South Korea. Upon arrival, roll up your sleeves and get set to participate in the making of the iconic, pungent and spicy Korean dish during a DIY kimchi session. Next, stop at a local fruit farm where you can enjoy picking and tasting of seasonal fruits. Nothing is like going straight to the source to enjoy the best of nature’s bounty. Thereafter, make your way to Pig Museum, the 1st of its kind in Asia. You can pet and feed the cute pigs at this swine-themed museum located in Icheon, and be entertained by trained piglets performing various amusing tricks.

Yongpyong – Seoraksan National Park –Yongpyong

This morning, proceed to Mt Seorak, the 3rdhighest mountain in South Korea. Enjoy a cable car ride to the summit and be mesmerised by the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Thereafter, journey to Naksansa Temple, a Korean Buddhist place of worship and revel in its beauty and calm. Later, visit Daegwallyeong Skyranch, a vast grazing landscape of rolling and treeless hills, that is well preserved and remain relatively untouched by human intervention. It is also a popular filming site of “Running Man” as well as many Korean dramas. Go on a tractor ride on its peaks and grassy fields, and experience sheep feeding. It’s both relaxing and inspiring.

Yongpyong – Pocheon – Chuncheon – Seoul

After breakfast, visit the enchanting Pocheon Herb Island which showcases Mediterranean herbs all year round. Thereafter, enjoy a short boat ride to Nami Island, famous for its exceptionally beautiful tree-lined road during autumn.
