After breakfast, make your way to the spectacular Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route that cuts through the Northern Japan Alps linking the Toyama with the Nagano prefectures. Take in glorious views of the exquisite surrounding vistas as you make your way via cable car, tunnel trolley bus and ropeway to the majestic 20-metre high snow corridor at Murodo. Later, invoke the inner child in you and spend a nostalgic evening as you light and play with sparklers before treating yourself to a relaxing spring bath at a ryokan-style resort hotel near the sea.

Don’t miss the park’s iconic nemophila and other seasonal flowers like the narcissus, tulips and kokia bushes as they take turns to bathe the park with various brilliant colours of red, green and blue. Then, stop by a local shopping and entertainment complex, Fashion Cruise Newport Hitachinaka, before heading back to Tokyo’s foremost shopping, entertainment and business district, Shinjuku. Lose yourself in the multitude of major departmental stores and shopping malls, or simply soak up the vibrant energy in this bustling area.
