Upon arrival, embark on a city tour to Cairns Esplanade, Cairns Botanic Gardens, Centenary Lakes and Cairns Harbour. Thereafter, spend the day at leisure.

Cairns – Kuranda – Cairns

After breakfast, visit Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park to discover the spiritual and traditional beliefs of the indigenous people. Watch the ancient Dreamtime story come alive with special effects at the new Bulurru Storywater Theatre. Through a celebration of song and dance at the theatre, the performers share the story of the creation of the world. Try your hand at throwing boomerangs and spears before proceeding for your Skyrail Rainforest Cableway ride. Discover the world’s oldest continuously surviving tropical rainforest as you glide just metres above the pristine rainforest canopy. Once aboard the cable car, be amazed by the panoramic sights as you glide silently over the picturesque rainforest. Upon arrival in Kuranda, enjoy rainforest walks, markets, Kuranda Koala Garden, Birdworld Kuranda and wildlife sanctuaries at your own expense. Next, proceed for your Kuranda Scenic Railway ride that will bring you on a journey on one of the world’s most scenic rail routes. Immerse yourselves in the fantastic sights as you journey through hand-hewn tunnels and over bridges spanning spectacular gorges.

Cairns – Great Barrier Reef – Cairns

After breakfast, take a high-speed catamaran to Great Barrier Reef, one of the world’s greatest marine parks. View colourful and mesmerising marine life on a semi-submersible ride or indulge in a snorkelling experience. You may, at your own expense, go diving in the pristine waters for a closer look at coral structures. For those new to these aquatic activities, you can take a guided snorkelling tour at your own expense to discover the wonders of the underwater world. Take an optional helicopter ride at your own expense for a fantastic view of the reef, if the weather permits.

Cairns – Port Douglas – Daintree National Park – Cairns

After breakfast, travel to Port Douglas via Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia’s most scenic coastal drives. Pass through the township where you will view historical sites and luxurious residences along with breathtaking views of Four Mile Beach from Flagstaff Hill lookout. Visit Wildlife Habitat and observe up close a plethora of flora and fauna from the Wet Tropics region. Hand- feed kangaroos and wallabies, pat a koala and get up close to crocodiles, cassowaries, kangaroos and much more. Next, head to Daintree National Park, a vast area of tropical rainforest wilderness in the far north of Queensland. Board Daintree River Cruise, a wildlife spotting boat designed specifically to get safely up close to view the local wildlife, including species of snakes, frogs, lizards, birds and of course, spotting the mighty estuarine crocodiles on the river’s muddy banks.

After breakfast, spend the day at leisure. Join an optional hot air balloon ride, go horseback riding or embark on a rafting adventure at your own expense.
